It was a meh for me. It wasn't good, but wasn't bad either. IDK why there is an "Early romance" tag on this book, almost till 35-40 chaps, the romance felt forced on ML's part. MC didn't even have soft feelings for him, I just felt sad for ML. I kept wishing he would fall in love with someone else.

Also like the other reviewer said, I liked their school life loads better than the part after Spoiler

MC returns from coma and finds all the college life was fantasy / half truth? I don't know what to call it, can't call it dream, but can't call it reality either

[collapse] I wish author just continued their school life to adulthood. The parts that made me sad were unfortunately the ones that ML had to go thru for MC.

On a completely different note - a slightly annoying thing that kept on repeating thru out the story was - why does everyone whisper? Why can't they talk? It's like author had just done a search and replace for all "said" with "Whisper" - even when a teacher is trying to calm down a noisy classroom, he whispers? Really? Waiter talking about menu, whispers? Someone is mad and still only whispers. So odd.

None of the time traveling thing has any sort of explanation or logic.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Can’t wait to read Alexas story too.

Another Great Book!  I have read all the Black Shadow books and Off shoots of Caspian’s story.  Now on to Riley’s book.

So it was only Thea among everyone else who's so willing to back up James no matter what no hesitations whatsoever! She would do whatever it takes even knowing she can't win against James enemies. I wonder why she didn't use her yogacara?
