Now that's some road rage. Polnareff got what was coming to him because of his reckless driving but a truck is so overkill.

That girl is back again, maybe she will be important later on in the story?

Yeah.

Initial Jojo!!!  As soon as I saw Polnareff in the driver's seat I was hoping to see some Polnareff street racing and while that didn’t exactly happen, it made for some tense and funny pages.  Polnareff really does remind me of young Joseph in his recklessness which only helps show the sweet, fatherly man Joseph has become.  He’s the one who is being reserved and cautious, ‘let him pass’, ‘don’t get into any accidents’.  These are the kinds of things I would imagine Joseph’s partners telling him in Battle Tendency.  Speaking of Joseph, I am glad we’re getting some linear storytelling, connecting the Empress to future arcs.  Joseph is a fugitive on the run now!  That and I’m so glad the runaway girl is back, she brings out one of my favorite sides to everyone.



Here, she confessed she lied and has run away trying to see the world before she becomes more girly, going so far to often dress as a boy.  She tried to bribe Joseph with porno photos she stole and Joseph tried so hard to get that dirty stuff away from a kid. <3  Polnareff wanted to toss her out as always.  And she gave us an explicit thought bubble regarding her crush on Jotaro!  I further find her interesting because she has to be linked to the bigger picture.  Perhaps she is a secret spy for Dio all along!  Or more likely she will have an unexpectedly big role tying to the overall story.  That, or she will pull a Straits and be important in the next arc.  One idea for her role in this story going forward which would definitely trigger some people’s weird warning is if she becomes Jotaro’s wife.  Jotaro needs to have a child unless it gets crazy and continues the Joestar bloodline through another child of Holly’s or something.  Therefore, with this girl having a romantic connection to Jotaro, and Jotaro trying to protect her, she does seem like the most likely pick…



The truck Polnareff picked a fight with ended up baiting them to nearly go face first into a truck.  The likely contender is the stand user the arc is named after, but I can’t help but humour the thought of a random with road rage issues.  I also totally appreciated the moment of silence the gang had for Abdul.  We don’t want him to go vanishing as if he never existed to begin with.

Never do that again for the love of god!

Talk about a close call.
