The Top Couple Is a Bit Sweet Chapter 69 Discussion

I don't know for you or others that made a review but there's many points in this novel that really hit me on the spots.

Disclaimer: I read this while on my depressive state so, maybe that's a big factor.

Anyways, if you don't wanna be triggered by what I'll tell in my review please scroll down.

So, at first, I was really expecting that maybe they're really sweet but just private not until I read it that I realized the description is not at all haha! Even so I still expect atleast one of them to be inlove with the other.

But I was a little bit disappointed when it shows that it was just really a contract, yet moment later *boom* ML's actually in love with her for years, when I said years, I meant literal f*cking YEARS.

I even suspect that he joined the entertainment industry for her because of the ML's mentor's story when he first started acting.

Anyways, that's settled so let's talk about the things that irritated me along the way:

1. The first CP

The reason why this triggered me was because FL was condemned for years.

Called insults and names, all for who? For a cheater who doesn't even have guts?

Also, I hate her manager in this part wherein they can actually counter the accusations but told her not to. Like why would you let your own people be condemned when you can actually have the upper hand?

Also, the cheater's partner, I kinda feel sorry for her but, girl why you only blame the FL when cheating's two way decision, in the first place your man's the one insisted on the CP things not FL yet she was the only one who suffered.

2. Her Uncle

Maybe this one is quite personal and unreasonable. I kinda hate how he didn't help her when she need the most (talking about the incident above)

Although, it's reasonable because FL have a huge fight with him regarding her career as an actress.

His character settings really put me on the edge, his character is the type person I wouldn't wanna educated and even bother explaining things about.

His feudal beliefs run deeps through his blood that he really stand on his belief in even the last moment, for example, FL joining entertainment industry, ML's pursue of FL, his brother's restaurant, his feelings in this three matters can only said to be disdain. Though I don't blame maybe it was deep-rooted on his upbringings (or maybe that's just how the FL portray him.)

But I wouldn't want to meet this kind of person as their belief was really deep-rooted in their veins, it's hard to change their minds.

I hope I'm wrong about him tho.

3. Ambiguous writing

So, I think this is quite debatable but there's this a little mannerism of Chinese author to always highlights the protagonist's characteristics. For example, the author dubbed FL as the top, the best and a high ranking actress with best acting skills and all or the ML with good reputation and a film emperor, something like that.

Yet the next moment, they'll introduced new character, highlighting their best characteristics and somehow compares the protagonist, and tells us that this new character is much more greater than the protagonist at some point. Like maybe next time if you want to high a character's good point just and not suddenly making them worst in comparison when a new character is introduced, caused that's irritating me for sure.
