I read the Manhwa a bit and I didn't like it at all.I just don't trust the author, nor do I trust the characters. To draw from an analogy, I generally hate plots that develop from memory loss, because the person doesn't actually seem like the person that they used to, which devalues any previous character development since you know there's the potential that it could be for nothing. In that case, it's hard to say if the characters or their experiences matter. This novel is the same way, not in the memory loss aspect, but in the arbitrary situations that devalue any character development aspect.I think character development requires some trust that the author is doing it with some intent towards the character, rather than for the plot or for some whim, and I don't trust that this is the case in the novel.
