This is a good heartwarming slice of life novel with a sprinkle of fantasy. The relationships between the characters are sweet and the children are very loveable. One word of advice: If you read this you need to think of the mc's brain reverting to an actual 8 year old's in order to get through it without getting annoyed thinking why they're so s*upid. The novel definitely has its downsides but I think its enjoyable enough to read that they dont ruin it.The author doesnt seem to understand the concept of gender and gets it confused with s*x so its impossible to figure out MCs gender (gender isn't something that changes just because you're in a different body). They strongly identify as a male in their past life, but never brings up living in a female body as an issue or experiencing gender dysphoria and is fine with being treated as a girl - are they trans male or gender fluid? The author hangs onto certain routines for way too long and relies on misunderstanding and the MC never speaking up to clarify them which gets tiring. E.g MC distrusts yeorum for so long at the beginning which could have been resolved much quicker and got very boring.MC is always confused why people treat them like a child, somehow only realises they're in an 8 year old body after 180 chapters, and even then still gets confused, as if everyone should just assume she's an adult, despite treating a 10 year old as a child. No matter how many times this happens they never clarify their actual age to the people closest to them even after revealing their background, just so the author can keep writing these scenarios. The whole story is a big pity party, the author is obsessed with people feeling bad for the children and so prolongs their poor living situation even though there are obvious solutions. It would be a lot more enjoyable if the story branched out more into the action side of things and showed MC fighting in dungeons, rather than just occasionally mentioning it, to keep it interesting.
