Honestly, it's not that bad when you consider the fact that this is a Chinese (highly probably web) novel.

Author tends to try stretching their story as much as they can so that's what you should expect when reading any CN including this one.

Not that I don't skip some parts myself, but I like the ML enough and I am in need of no-braincells needed stories for stress relief.
