This suffers from 7th grade syndrome in a major way.

The MC is unlikable and the other characters seem utterly irrational.

The world setting is not well thought out, and his rational is heavily contrived. The only reason I can think of to have such a setting is so that the author doesn't have to come up with an actual believable world.

Spoiler

They HAVE to abolish their laws to go in the dungeons...

OK.... but the author seems to have ignored that when they come OUT they could simply have everything 'taxed' or have special items 'requisitioned' for the 'public good'.

I really don't understand how this got THREE "5 star" votes (and no others at this time).

Save your brain cells, avoid this!

wow i heard of the old ball and chain but dang Weston took it literally. Lmao Grandpa got the stuck face and Gwen got what she deserved. She should've stayed home.

Weston truly loves Stella and will do everything to make her happy. Why can’t Stelia see and feel his love. He might have wrong her in the past but he tries to make up for his past mistakes. The way i see it, Weston cannot live without Stella. She completes him, no matter what.
