After Transmigrating, I Died of Depression Without My Phone Chapter -- Discussion

Ignore the title. I thought this novel would be comedic and unique, but it's just standard counterattack stuff. It's not badly written, but it's not my preference.

I was personally really turned off by the fact that the original ML, Beiting Xue, the one who sucks away MC's blood and keeps her captive, eventually romances her. Not that he's neccesarily a bad guy, but the relationship is really unequal because he has so much power over her that she cannot resist. MC is weak. Even her being sent to the ML is against her will. And this is not portrayed to be a problem.

If original MC is the love interest, original FL is also portrayed as the villain. Kinda unfair, since she's young and weak, and her father seems to make all her decisions. It's a cliche.

And of course, now that MC's so spunky, people pity her for her fate. Especially the male supporting side character. It just doesn't make sense. He was cold blooded enough to get her into this situation and he didn't care when it happened to the OG, but now that she's transmigrated, this pity suddenly appears. It's not portrayed as a passing thought, but as if he's starting to care about MC now. What's even grosser is that it feels the pity will soon turn into love. But since there is no reverse harem tag yet, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one.

I absolutely loved this book and I cannot wait for the sequel. Your descriptions of emotions, attire and surroundings was fantastic, made me feel like I was right there with them. Loved everything about it. You've done a wonderful job and I love your work.
