I enjoyed the original story, it had a nice tempo and the main character and his party's power builds up at a nice pace reasonably, and in all honesty, I enjoy arifureta after even more, the current story arc in particular is really cool and exciting and I'm just waiting until we see the outcome, plus the tortus travel journal chapters are also very fun and show off the wonderful character development that's occurred throughout the series, at least that's my take, I'll admit arifureta after takes a bit to really get good though with the chronology always being all over the place at first
