Why Medieval Era?

In my opinion it's far simpler to write about, as you can pretty much half-ass it without even the basic knowledge, like I'm pretty sure you don't know what a Sabaton is, but if I told you the "sole-of-his-metal-boots" then you'll know.

Plot twist, your reader could understand what the heck you put on "incomprehensible" spell chanting xD 

At least our universe doesn't have actual quantum breakers that almost destroyed our space-time, but somehow manage to reattach itself back but left inconsistencies in our timeline, right?

... right?  

I usually try to use arabica for the "incomprehensible" spell chanting. 

It's the opposite of the modern world we live in. the social norms, customs, and the tradition that many modern people already abandoned lives in that era. In a way, it gives another layer of the external struggle for the character to adapt and survive. Does MC hate dresses? She gets to wear dresses. unless she was ot stick like a sore thumb. It's a good contrast and background for an individual who never lived much less been born in a time like that.

There's also the thing because most isekai MCs are female and in that period, they aren't 'equal' to men. So, they have to depend on ML and their wits. And the age of chivalry where knights can also be brutes and not some fairy tale looking dude.

Just imagine isekai MC getting surrounded but instead of bows, they use gatling gun. (Most often aiming from higher place)
