Buying JP light novels

I’m having trouble falling asleep tonight so let me trouble nuffians too with some questions...

Have you ever bought physical copies of JP LNs? I’ll be leaving Japan soon and I recently bought some for the titles I’m helping with...But I was wondering if I should buy something else to try to read (slowly, with the help of a dictionary) in my spare time.

I usually buy a lot of food/slice of life manga that are easy to read and I enjoy the art. No complicated plots or overtaking the world/revenge but I read it if it’s entertaining. Too long and descriptive like Bookworm girl is out too~ (I enjoyed it for a while but couldn’t finish it).

I’m very tempted to buy Isekai Shokudo and maybe Izakaya Nobu.

The other title I bought is the 8 volumes of Bakarina (plus comics). I still think it’s hilarious and the reread value is to me. So anything humorous and short is also welcomed.

Any good recommendations?

I own the first few volumes of おいしいベランダ。(though I've only finished the 1st volume)
They're pretty easy to read and quite good.

I saw that there's a manga out for it as well, but I haven't read it yet.
