I think most men in asia these days don't know how to talk to women. So they fantasize about raising a child who will follow their commands, as they will never find a woman who would be willing to. Probably a trend or attempt to appeal to more readers especially due to the large Japanese otaku (& lolicon) culture influence. There’s also a lot of appeal with the cuteness factor. That’s why there are more novels that have the additional childcare element either in the form of a blood/adopted son/daughter or a chibi contractual spirit/beast. 

These characters are often referred to in-story as "lolis" or "moe-".  It's obvious where this is coming from. 

I just like to see it as the unhealthy effect of Japanese Okatu penetration in China. 

Why you all blaming Japan for all these stuffs?? 

A lolita is girls/young woman whose sexuality is just awakening and beginning to be externally expressed - for example through the
secondary gender characteristics and/or clothes - an age where the line between "pure" innocence, playfulness and lust becomes vague.

Nowdays the awakening and expression of sexuality gets heavily influenced by oversexualisation in massmedia and partly questionable sexual education in some schools and social sexual imprinting.

The 'lolita' has its charme in the "natural awakening" of the sexuality, not an conscious act through peer pressure... Like... A young woman who discovered the pleasure of male attention without the inhibitions which come from years of dulling experience. Basically what we'd call a young female dog non-derogatory in her first heat.... but the human version. The line between innocent, horny sluttiness and being completely grown up... Maybe not even sluttiness in the fixation on sex, but the "game" around human sexuality... can be very fascinating and through memories/recollections of ones own early sexuality even stimulating....

Well, and there is nothing wrong with a 14-18 year old to like 13-15 year olds.... And physically there isn't that much difference between many 13 and 16 year olds... Some 15 year old girls look like others with 20.
