Novel slavery...

In many of the novel that i read, especially the Japanese one, other races are usually being enslave by the human.
So my question is, how the hell are they so weak?
Okay, the most usual one is the elves. They tall, beautiful, good with magic, good with archery, live longer and so much more.
So the question is still again, why the HELL are they so f**king weak?
What, did the elves or any of the other races so stupid or just decide to watch as things goes on?
If the human race can be good at one thing then why can't they be as well.
In fact in most cases the human is usually a balance type, while the other race has some sort of innate advantage over another, so why the hell are they still so weak?
I just didn't understand it...

Anyway how bout you guys....

Slavery is not bad thing if it's jp novel
Here some example

1. Slave can eat together at the same table with master, not in the floor
2. Master will treat slave nicely (polite talk, ask slave opinion, order slave to sleep in warm bed while master sleep at the cold floor)
3. Master will save slave in dangerous situation even there is death risk

You know the theme of "humans breed too fast" is part important of science fiction by Asimov. The Foundation series works because "common humans breed too fast". They live short and breed fast, so in mere centuries they can colonize a stellar system.

Plenty of societies progress then reach a point of stagnation where the forces saying "keep things as they are" grow to strong. There is always a resistance to change, and it only takes a couple generations of "education" for people to lose the ability to think the other way has merit. There are large areas where the politics has basically convinced people to vote against their best interests, and never consider the party/parties that would actually make changes that benefit the voters. see most single issue voters who have 1 issue they are passionate about to the extent of ignoring other (and often much more relevant) issues.

Kind of Like Hakai no Miko where the humans are blessed with intelligence while the other races are too inflexible and stubborn to change which results in predictable strategies

I think I misread your post and thought you said those with high resources overtake those with low resources.
I would argue that is because humans can adapt to all everything while elves are only suited to specific environments.
By the way, if thinks work the way I am planning. I will adapt your Truck-kun story into a full-blown comic.

Then why didn't the other races come together to fight a common enemy like how human is.

Like during world war 2 when most of the world unite to fight Germany and Japan.

Did they really that arrogant that they cannot see that they are being oppressed and just watch at the side.

It´s because humans breeds like rats and therefore our territory of a world would be very high compared to other races. Sure, a single man would loose against a dwarf, elf whatever but humans don't fight wars alone.

Not if they evolved in a static environment. Then rapid changes happened and their way of life worked only in certain places, like deep in the woods. There they remained traditionalists because it still worked.

Then change caught them slowly, like how you boil a frog. And now they are a proud race of slaves.
