Chapter 4 summary
When Yi Qing wakes up again, he's still lying in the yard. His injuries are heavy and his sight is blurred. He faintly sees two blobs in gray and white talking to each other. The white blob is very big. He's worried it's a demon and might hurt the girl from before, but he couldn't do anything cause he's too injured, then faints again.
When he wakes up for the second time, he's still in the same spot, didn't even turn over. But he was slightly better than last time and could hear. It's the rabbit demon giving MC a daikon and praising how juicy it is and how all the rabbits love it. She says it's okay but wants to change the diet a bit. Yi Qing faints before hearing exactly what she wanted.

. This time his consciousness is a bit better and he can turn around, seeing the girl in gray digging... MC notices he's a live and sighs, seems disappointed. She crawls from the very deep pit and offers him food. He recognizes it's a very rare ice ginseng and throws his suspicions away. She's treating him so well! He hesitates a little since he can't repay her, but he really needs it right now, so he nods and eats it. It starts replentishing his spirit and healing his tendons. Shen Ying is watching him and thinking how he looked dead for the past several days, but she was too lazy to spend the effort to bury him. Today on a whim, she decided to dig him a pit and he woke up. MC asks him if he wants to eat more and offers the radish, but he faints due to the pain of repairing his body. MC wonders if he's allergic to radish.
When he wakes up for the fourth time, he's still lying in the same spot, but his meridians are all fixed now. But due to unclean body (the demonic arts used by the devil dude interfering or something?) he can't use his spiritual power. The girl is back to digging a pit... He calls out to her and she complains that he should say early if he's not dead, she's been digging for so long. Awkwardly, she explains the digging away as digging earth to fill in the pits made by the devil dude earlier. Yi Qing gives up on asking further. He thanks her for saving him (MC is : O.O I saved him?) and introduces himself, then asks her name. She introduces herself as Shen Ying. He tells her he'd like to repay her and he'd do anything as long as it doesn't betray his morals and she refuses at first, but then makes him fill in the pits in her yard. He's happy to do it. Even if he can't use his spirit, he's a healthy swordsman (buff), so it doesn't take him long to fill in all the pits, including the one she dug. Suddenly he senses a yin aura (like evil,cold, demonic, that kinda thing) and thinks a very powerful demon is approaching and gets into battle mode. It's a rabbit demon that's 8 feet tall or more, clearly the rabbit demon king. Yi Qing is desperate, even in his best days, he wouldn't be a match to this demon king, let alone now when he can't use his aura.
He thinks since he's embarked on the cultivating road, he's prepared to die at any time, but his benefactor's there and he hasn't even repaid her yet. He decides to sacrifice his life and grabs his sword and mobilizes his spirit, but the evil spirits inside his body give him a backlash and he spits blood.

I'd say yes, but I'm not sure whether my brain hasn't just mutated from too much mtl... If you're used to it, then it'll be understandable. I help myself with a dictionary if I really want to understand something the mtl butchered. There's some xianxia mumbo jumbo, but I don't bother with it for summaries, dictionaries will help there too. If you ignore those, it's pretty okay and straightforward.

Chapter 2 Summary
The forest is deadly quiet, the woman is sitting on a tiger demon corpse looking lazy. She sighs and says she's tired and should go home. She's hungry so she looks at the corpses around, should be ok to eat supper. She grabs a rabbit demon, but then it suddenly moves and starts pleading for mercy. MC asks if he was playing dead and the rabbit starts crying that he's not like the other demons - he's never eaten a mortal before cause he's on a vegetarian diet and he still has a family and so on and so forth. He's super scared of the person who looks weaker than mortals and has no tactics, but just a slap can send the thousands of demons including the demon kings to the underworld. MC confirms he's vegetarian and has kids, then says she'll let him go - "Keep the vegetarian diet and grow fat".
The rabbit demon can't believe she'd let him go cause it was mostly rabbit demons who were killed by her earlier. MC says it's because they're delicious.The rabbit king suddenly realizes something - "So you killed all those demons before to..." MC: "Eat. I gotta live." Then she adds: "I live in a thatched cottage nearby and was sleeping when you started making a commotion in the middle of the night and woke me up. People have a temper when they're woken up, you know." She turns to go back when the rabbit king gets some courage and asks her to wait. He offers to bring ingredients of food to her and her eyes light up, but then she says she has no money for takeaways. Rabbit king is like 'what's a takeaway??' He says it's to honor her and she doesn't need to pay. She's suddenly embarrassed and awkward "It's too troublesome to you." The rabbit king assures her it's no trouble then asks her not to kill his rabbit demons. She agrees as long as they don't eat people then goes back to sleep. The rabbit king asks her name, it's Shen Ying.
