Zheng Xiaoguang always thought that she was freaking awesome in terms of playing games. Although she was not an RMB fighter, her big brother could protect her. As such, Zheng Xiaoguang always felt great during a mission. Unfortunately, her superiority ended until last week. In order to align with the Fame House, her unscrupulous big brother actually “sold” her to Bluegreen-Clad, the boss of another major gang called the League of Strong Families. Yes, he was the local lord who was crazily admired by female players in the whole region.
Some loose ends from the following characters that I hope the author will write more about in the future because I find their story arcs very interesting:
Blooming Pear Tree is MC's big brother. They've gamed together online for a long time and are close. When they were playing on Flying Diety, Su Han asked his help to chase after MC. He helped him but Su Han ended up breaking MC's heart leading Blooming Pear Tree to hate Su Han as well as be very protective of MC. When he starts playing Shiny Sky, he invites MC to join him. He's an engineer and is often busy with work so MC plays his account to help him level up. However, one day, ML scams him into an alliance with the request of marrying MC off to him. Despite refusing, he wasn't able to give ML back the items he gave him even if he dismantles the weapon he forged using those items. Because of this, he had no choice but to agree.
When Blooming Pear Tree realizes that ML is serious about MC and sees the photos that MC and ML took together, he realized that MC might also have feelings for ML, he reaches out to her to warn her about not getting into another relationship so quickly. He refuses to help ML chase MC because of his experience with Su Han but ML was able to convince him that he's for real.
Blooming Pear Tree is said to be born with a silver spoon but prefers to make his own way in the world by becoming an engineer. In the past, there was a girl named Rose who was in love with him. Thinking that Rose isn't sincere, he did all he could to drive her away. He finally succeeded and before leaving, she tells him that she did truly love him. After she disappeared, he finally realizes the truth. He's been playing all these online games using the same username hoping to find her again. He continues to look for her but as of the end of this novel, he hasn't found her. Not sure if the author means to continue with his story so we're left with no conclusion. Lu Mingyue is ML's sister. At first, I thought she might be the missing Rose that Blooming Pear Tree was looking for but at her brother's wedding, there's another man that shows up. It seems that they work together and have been engaged since they were children. When she asked him if he thought her brother's wedding was nice, he responds that it was just so-so but when they get married, he'll give her an even better wedding.
We learn that the man is Gu Hang, someone she's been engaged to since they were young. He forces her to break up with his girlfriends when he's tired of them. So in one instance, she confronts the girl and tells her that she's Gu Hang's fiancee and for the girl to leave him alone. She gives the girl money but she refuses money and leaves crying. Lu Mingyue then reports back to Gu Hang what happened and he thanked her happily. She sort of asked him why he does this, date girls and break their hearts. He tells her that it's just for fun and he finds it interesting. She tells him that since it's so fun, she wants to try it too. Upset at the insinuation, he asked her if she's kidding and she respond that she's not. I guess Gu Hang think nothing of dating other girls but hearing that Lu Mingyue wants to try dating other people, this doesn't sit well with him. LOL.
Her username in the game is Slightly Defected Moon and although she has played with MC before, MC doesn't realize it's her until the wedding. Her role in the game world is pretty minor.

Su Han is MC's ex-boyfriend. A few years ago, they had gotten married in another online game (Flying Deity) and made their virtual relationship real. They dated for 2 years but it was a long-distance relationship because they lived in different cities. They planned on getting married but his parents opposed the union because she wasn't a local girl and they refused to accept a girl he met online (despite not having met her). MC had to go through hoops with her family for them to accept Su Han and felt like Su Han wasn't willing to fight for their love leading them to constantly fight. In the end, he dumps her. He made her out to be inconsiderate, always urging him to marry her when he's already under a lot of pressures from his family. This lead to MC having to quit the game and becoming vary of online relationships.
Su Han starts playing the new online game (Shiny Sky) under the username, Never Deeply Attached. He's an online friend and member of ML's guild. Through the first half of the novel, he's missing in action and hasn't played in a long time. But he comes back in Ch 64. Another player (Strawberry Ice Cream) has a crush on him but he refuses to get involved in another online marriage because of his past experience. He finally confesses to Han Meimei who keeps trying to hook the two up, he tells her about his past relationship. Han Meimei, not knowing that the ex-girlfriend Su Han was talking about is the MC, tells MC that because of an immature, inconsiderate girl, Never Deeply Attached refuses to accept any girl's love in an online game. She then asked MC if she wants to see a picture of Never Deeply Attached because he's really handsome. When MC sees the picture, she realizes that Never Deeply Attached is her ex-boyfriend Su Han and the girl that Han Meimei referred to as being immature and inconsiderate was herself.
MC fesses to ML that Never Deeply Attached is her ex-boyfriend. Scared that he will also believe what everyone felt about Never Deeply Attached's ex-girlfriend, she asks ML for a divorce before logging out of the game and turning her phone off. Unable to reach her, ML reach out to her big brother, Blooming Pear Tree to ask for details about Su Han. Assured that ML truly cares for MC, he helps ML out by visiting MC and forcing her to visit ML. He tells her that he's going to beat ML up. Once they get there, MC finds out that it's actually a guild party with members of the guild present. MC meets Su Han at the party and he's surprised to find out that she's Flowing Lights. ML introduced her as his online wife and girlfriend.
Su Han tries to tell ML that MC isn't the right girl for him thinking that everyone's situation is like his own. But ML assures him that he'll never let MC feel insecure. Tong Xiangyang was the blind date that MC was forced to go on by her friend Yang Sisi. He's a schoolmate of Yang Sisi's husband. They had an awkward date because they didn't have much in common. When he asked her if she plays online games, she remembers what her friend had told her about not talking about gaming, so she tells him that she finds online gaming to be wasteful and would never become an addicted gamer. Despite the lack of interest between the two, Yang Sisi and her husband still try to create opportunities between the two.
Cool Names Taken by Dogs was a fellow guild member of MC when she was with her brother's guild Matchless. He often teased her by being mean to her because he likes her. He'll tell her that since no one wants to marry her, he'll allow her to marry him but she always thinks he's joking. He was upset to find out that she married ML in the game. When she didn't receive a rare object because although ML won the item, the team captain gave it to Venus Will Cry instead, Cool Names Taken by Dogs spent real money to obtain the object for her but before he can give it to her, ML already gave her a more superior item.
Tong Xiangyang eventually finds out that Zheng Xiaoguang is Flowing Lights, the online girl that he's been in love with so he starts pursuing her despite her being officially in a relationship with ML. He feels that he is a better match for her because they live in the same city. He requests a duel with ML. If he wins, ML would have to quit the game. Obviously, ML won leading Tong Xiangyang to quit the game. I've already mentioned some of Venus Will Cry's antics in the above spoiler posts. When she uploaded her picture for the beauty contest, a lot of people praised her beauty. Feeling confident that when ML sees her picture, he would choose her over MC, Venus Will Cry decide to start a contest with the winner becoming her online husband. It would be a 1v1 duel. The winner must be in the same guild as her or be willing to move into her guild. And the second requirement is that he must gift her Seven Stars' Yellow Spring Sword (the same gift that ML gave MC). She thinks that ML for sure will join the battle. However, he hadn't logged into the game in a while. The current winner was another player by the name of Motherf**ker. He's a ruthless player known for harassing the female players. No one wants to battle him. He tells Venus Will Cry that if she's willing to have sex with him, he can make her his sugar baby. Luckily, Son of Heaven came to her rescue and defeated Motherf**ker. Though better him than Motherf**ker, she's disappointed that it wasn't the ML. Because Son of Heaven doesn't have all the items to forge the weapon she wants, she uses this to hold off on the marriage.
Venus Will Cry knows how Son of Heaven feels about her. He had sent her a picture of himself and although he's 26 years old, he looks more like he's 36 because he's a salesman and has aged rapidly due to having to earn money the hard way. She doesn't feel that Son of Heaven earns enough to be able to spoil her in the game like ML does MC. Therefore she refuses to be with him.
We find out that although she acts like a rich girl online and buys people's loyalty with gifting expensive items, she's actually a poor college student who uses credit cards to buy stuff. She thinks that if she can get ML, he would spoil her and she can live the life of a rich girl.
When she convinces Never Deeply Attached that MC is the reason why ML refuses to team up with her and Son of Heaven. Never Deeply Attached angrily calls MC out on it. This lead ML to expose Venus Will Cry. He asked her why she hasn't married Son of Heaven. She uses the excuse of the sword so ML gives Son of Heaven all the items he needed to forge the sword. Once the sword is forged, she still wouldn't marry him. So ML asked her if her phone number **** to which Son of Heaven reply that that's her phone number. ML then tells everyone that the phone number is connected to her account as well as the accounts that tried to set MC up. Despite all of this, Son of Heaven still wants to marry her. Venus Will Cry then says that since he knows all that, he must know that she's also Miss Flower, the account that's been stealing all the materials Son of Heaven needed to forge the sword which would force her to marry him. After being called out and refusing to marry Son of Heaven, she leaves the game.
But that's not the end of her. She ends up with Motherf**ker who's a 40-year-old fat man who allows his friends to grope her as well as beat her up when he's annoyed. Though she hates him, she likes the money he gives her. When he finds out that she used his account to provoke MC, he slaps her, upset that he spent so much money on the account but it's wasted because of her actions.
So.... trash ML.... is exactly how this looks.... That's why I say thank you for the spoilers because they prevented me from wasting my time. After all, he's the one who forced her to marry him in game then is the one who has to be informed (one of those times by the big brother who is equally trash for similar reasons) multiple times that she's in danger before he can even take a step towards protecting her, even though this danger is an obvious consequence of HIS actions. No thanks.
While everything is happening, ML is again missing in action. Big brother BPT calls ML to yell at him, telling him that if he likes VWC, he better divorce MC as soon as possible because MC is a good girl and many guys want to marry her! ML finally learns what happened and logs in to comfort his wife. Upset that his sister is being treated as such, he reminds ML that it was he who asked BPT to marry MC off to him. ML admits that he didn't know this was happening but that he will take care of things.ML place a phone call to someone to have the IT department delete the offending thread. He tells them that if it's not deleted by tomorrow, the person in charge of the forum need not show up at the company tomorrow. Who is ML?!?ML logs into the game and apologized to MC. He tells her that he already called customer service to have them delete the thread as well as assure her that he'll only marry her in the game, no one else.MC ask ML if he didn't think VWC is pretty based on her picture. ML tells her that he doesn't care and teased her by saying that just call him blind. Annoyed, she tells him that she's not ugly so he asked for a picture which she sent. He tells her she looks very cute. After a time, MC gets pregnant in the game. However, she gets a miscarriage when she is killed by one of VWC's minions. ML goes after the minion and kills her several times. He gives her an ultimatum: either she quits the game or he kills her every day until he quits the game.MC is heartbroken that they lost their virtual child. She wishes that they didn't have to wait 24 hours after a miscarriage to conceive again. Thus ML calls the IT department to have them create a piece of equipment that would allow her to remove her miscarriage status allowing them to conceive again. He tells MC he won the pill in a lucky draw. MC gets pregnant again and is told that she will have the child 3 days later. When MC tells ML this news, he's quite happy with the IT department for being very caring. LOL.MC gives birth to a baby girl whom they named Green Barley.After a friend leaves the game, MC starts thinking about what would happen if ML also left the game. She realized that she has fallen in love with ML.The second round of the beauty contest is a reality show. ML got his hand on an invitation that he passes to MC. They agreed that MC will take the train and ML will pick her up at the train station when she arrives.Our main couple finally meets in Ch 50! MC is surprised that he is the same person from the photo that he sent her because she had thought it was a fake picture.
