Apparently, the stolen necklace is magical. During those times that Tang Susu visited the mother-in-law, she can see the black aura around her. Goudan said that it was because she was supposed to be dead already a long time ago but the necklace protected her. Now, she had no protection because her son stole the necklace and gave it to his mistress. When she died, Ella was devastated. Tang Susu asked her if she want revenge, she said no. But after getting kicked out, she agreed to Tang Susu. In exchange of retribution, Ella gave her filial piety on her mother-in-law. Goudan was satisfied because it's so pure which is very rare for those who aren't blood related. Tang Susu said it was because the emotion is mutual . Ella only agreed to give it because her mother-in-law is dead. Had she been still alive, she won't willingly exchange it. Tang Susu knows that Ella was only hated her husband not because of cheating or stealing of her designs but because her mother-in-law died. Later, they held a press con to clear up the plagiarism accusation. Her husband arrived with the CEO of the company the mistress work for. Unexpectedly, everything the husband says is only the truth. Few hours later, the video of him admitting all of his wrong doings became viral. Many hated him and his company went down. Ella divorced him with help of a certain french man named Sean. Ella left for France with him and it was implied that she might not come back anymore. About the mistress, she died of a car accident. But shouldn't she be protected by the necklace? Yes but only if she has it. Could it be that she sold it or gave it away? Nope. Goudan pointed out that wearing that necklacr gives the wearer vitality. They won't easily give it to someone or exchange it for anything. So someone took it with the knowledge of the necklace's power. I'm pretty sure this will play out later because Tang Susu is connecting it with the Tai Sui and the Peony mirror incidents.A plot twist was revealed on the same chapter. Everything was orchestrated by Sean! It seemed that he likes Ella so he paid the mistress to seduce Ella's husband and create a riff between the couple. He wanted to separate them so he can have Ella but the mistress did some little extra so he got angry at her. I'm actually a little worried for Ella. This Sean could be someone who's too possessive and that might hurt her. In Tang Susu's opinion it'll be fine but I don't know if we should trust that judgement.In this arc, our ML and FL broke up (?) So they went to Beijing for vacation because their weekend dates were always interrupted by Bai Mian lol. Bai Mian doesn't like Shi Chengxuan for Tang Susu. So he had to take her on vacation for a week in disguise of business trip. Unfortunately, because of Tang Susu's low social status, his family wasn't satisfied. Just like everybody else, they thought Tang Susu seduced him and only wanted his money. This Chu Yi, Shi Chengxuan's nosy cousin, seemed to be too idle that he started minding other people's business. He started acting like a little bitch and tattle to Chengxuan's mother about his girlfriend, Tang Susu. Naturally, his mother wasn't satisfied because she already had a daughter-in-law in mind, a certain Qiao girl who is a member of a Cpop girl group. So she went to Tang Susu to find trouble while towing her daughter-in-law. Tang Susu was at a vacation park or something with Shi Chengxuan, Chu Yi the nosy bitch and another cousin surnamed Chu (I forgot his name). Because they didn't like her they purposefully excluded her on their conversations but it's no problem for Tang Susu because she's experienced on that matter. She just busied herself with her phone. She saw on Qi Yang's WeChat moments that a month or so ago, he had been on the vacation place she's currently at so she messaged him. Apparently it was owned by his relative, a vixen too. This became handy later because when Shi Chengxuan's mother came, a verbal fight ensued which dissatisfied other guests because she's too noisy (I know that feeling okay. If you're going to loudly fight, at least don't do that in public). So the owner came to mediate and to everyone's surprise, he sided with Tang Susu. Lol of course he will she's the owner of the bowl. He even tried to flatter her. So the mother and the daughter-in-law got kicked out despite of their glorious surname. Shi Chengxuan also doesn't want to recognize his mother. From my understanding he's an illegitimate child and his mother doesn't want about him and just threw him to the Shi family. She only cared after people started scrambling on their feet to please him. Sorry I'm reading mtl so I'm not so sure about this part. They went back but Shi Chengxuan was called by his grandfather so he had to leave her. He didn't return even until morning. He was detained by his grandfather because he doesn't like Tang Susu. He wanted Chengxuan to marry the Qiao girl. Tang Susu was sent back to Fenglin (?) and Shi Chengxuan contacted her not once for the next half month. During those times, she busied herself with Ella's exhibit. It seemed that she didn't go to work for Chengxuan's company anymore. When Chengxuan came back, he sent Secretary Wu to check on Tang Susu but she just sent him back and told him that Shi Chengxuan shouldn't bothet anymore. Chengxuan interpreted it as her being angry. Tang Susu concluded that she doesn't fit busy work so she opened a cafe with Bai Mian as her partner. Shi Chengxuan sent his person to apply as the chef to watch her. She doesn't want to hire him but Goudan loves his desserts so she hired him. I have mixed feelings about this one. Now, this behavior of his is up to you to judge. Will they get back together? Definitely lol. I'm not on that part yet tho so let's see how he'll appease her.

Ella's husband is so INFURIATING (AAAAAAAHHHH). He's the perfect epitome of men thinking with their dick. His mistress run over his mother and he still chose to side with her even dumping the blame on his wife! NOT TO MENTION ALL OF THAT HAPPENED BECAUSE HE STOLE HIS MOTHER'S NECKLACE TO GIVE IT TO HIS MISTRESS! He doesn't even have the spine to take his mistress to jail even after knowing that his mother's situation is more severe than what his mistress made it seem to be. Instead he blamed it on Ella, again (sUrPrIsE sUrPrIsE), for not telling him about it. Ella refuted that he's not picking up her calls and she even had to contact his secretary but apparently, he's too bUsY (bet busy fucking his mistress). It was implied earlier on that Ella used to be surrounded by many friends but after getting married to him, she slowly got isolated (red flag btw, this is usually the start of abusive relationships). It seemed to only sink in to her when she felt that Bai Mian and Tang Susu are kind to her. Speaking of abusive relationship, did you know that this scum is also gaslighting her? He kept on saying Ella didn't take care of his mother well and only focused on designing her jewelry when he HIMSELF DOESN' T EVEN GO HOME AND ALSO GETS ANGRY WHENEVER HIS MOTHER CALLS HIM. THE AUDACITY OF THAT ! There's that one time when his mother came home on her own accord without informing anyone, he can't even bother to go home and make sure she's safe. And can you believe that this bastard gets even worse? He's berating Ella for being an amazing woman (a.k.a. working, being so good at it and earning her own money). Ugh men not surprising. It seemed that he wants her to stay home and just take care of his mother like a paid care taker. While his mistress is also a jewelry designer but he doesn't mind that she work. Let me just say double standard. The dick even had the guts to steal Ella's design and serve it to his mistress on a silver platter. When the exhibit came, the jewelry presented were the same with the mistress'. The mistress had the audacity to go to the exhibit with reporters in tow and accuse Ella of plagiarism. Thank god Tang Susu was there as Bai's representative. Ella was stunned because the mistress was wearing her mother-in-law's necklace. She also knew that her husband stole her designs because he's the only one who can freely come in and out of her studio. This went on live tv and the mother-in-law watched. Sadly, because of this fiasco, the mother-in-law had a heart attack and died. I'm pretty sure the mother-in-law knows about the designs being stolen by her son and she also saw the necklace on the mistress. Ella tried contacting her husband but the dickhead is nowhere to be found. While his mother is dying, he's on their house (yes, the house that he share with his wife) and playing house with his mistress. Again, the dickhead blamed his mother's death on Ella, slapped her in front of many reporters, and kicked her out of their home. Oh sorry, let me rephrase that: HIS MISTRESS KICKED ELLA OUT OF HER OWN HOME. THIS PAIR OF SHIT IS UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE If you think of it, all of these only happened because he's a man who think with his small dick and his actual brain is only as small as pepper--nope not a whole piece of pepper but a dot of ground pepper. His mother won't go out and get run over if he didn't stole the necklace. His mother won't die if he didn't stole and gave Ella's designs to his mistress. His crying face is so punchable. I swear to god, just let me in that novel and I'll him. It's just sad for Ella. Her life could have went on to the brighter path but all that gone because she married a scum. Not to mention there are women out there experiencing this in real life.That spineless scum's retribution is too light in my opinion considering that Ella's payment is of high quality. May that bastard burn in hell.

Fyi, imho the story is more about Tang Su Su rather than 'the adventure of Tang Su Su and Gou Dan and the Bowl of Seven Emotion'. There is ML, but again, imo, I don't think this is about MLxFL. The story so far looks like it has arcs, but it's not. Each "cases" a bit overlap with each other, and some dragged long. That's why it's a bit difficult to list it. MC/FL is not someone who 'got power, got responsibility, got mystery to solved!! solved it'. She's not even always use the Bowl.
What makes me interest is how the author emphasizes the "power" of China powerful families and their victim and how the ending of each 'arc'... well, happy ending depend on how you view it. Initially it looks like a weak female lead and her golden thigh(s): a rich, tall, cool, and handsome/pretty powerful CEO (yeah she already got one in early chapter, her girl friend Bai Mian whose later become domineering CEO lol) with supernatural twist but it's more like the opposite.
If you asks for memorable events... for me the memorable one is the useless tiny things but funny (but my humor standard is rather.. dry). It’s quite a lot... Currently I re-read it for better understanding so I can’t give you all spoilers yet.

It seems her grandmother had eaten it for the last 8 years.Tang Su Su accompany her boss and several managers to surveys a land at, coincidentally, Lin Village where her grandmother came from.Gou Dan smells barbecue outside the hotel, threaten Tang Su Su to buy it or she'd not allowed to sleep. So she compromise, go out that night, buy some meat and... meet her own boss there. Because some event, Shi Cheng Xuan delivered half of his beer to Tang Su Su which she drank in one go."If you want to drink more, I'll invite you."
