reading this, i'ts possible to see that this protag is not only a damned dog but an a-hole as well, nobody throws a young child in front of them as a sacrifice, if it were me i would throw myself out and let myself be a corpse  

Well it's hard to explain, mtl sucks. So "mo qiu" died while protecting MC from the dragon, but his actual body isn't. MC still didn't know that mo qiu is actually the demon king. He thought mo qiu is descendant of mo family, so he's so heartbroken when mo qiu "died". Oh but he later found out.
And everyone (human+demon) want to kill mc bcs of that damn heaven's prophecy. ML is always protecting MC and almost died couple of times, in the end he really died tho. 

How can a book even justify MC as a villain?  I mean he was being framed...for the things protag does... I know that the villains have a side too but they usually are malicious and actually did something bad...
