This story was almost perfect wish-fulfillment haha. Anyone know other stories like this? I mean ML and MC are OP af, most beautiful and powerful people, devoted to each other, HEA ending with sweet child, fated since childhood, it's so unrealistic and I LOVE it!!
Thank you for the spoilers. Male lead's mother deserved what was coming to her and the previous Emperor was so useless, his wife was being poisoned under his nose but this philanderer gave no dime about it or what? Anyway, the Queen should've stopped after that but she went on to release her anger on innocent people, thus her band end.
I don't know if you've continued reading this because your post was from last year. I'm also sorry nobody was able to answer your question....
Elena (FL) heard about Caril from first timeline because he is the prince and his death was announced. He is in fact dead in the first timeline but knew about her in both timelines. It turns out that they had in fact, met as kids but Elena didn't remember. He knew her, but she didn't remember him.
That's why he was so surprised when she arrived to save him in her 2nd lifetime.
She learned later on that a mysterious ring she received from an unknown boy in her youth was Caril, and the ring had the power to grant one wish to Caril. He wished for her to live and that is why Elena is brought back alive and lives again.
I first came upon this story through a visual novel game, and now that I'm reading the manhwa. While the manhwa still incomplete and I've only read spoilers of the novel, I realized the game took a very different twist, and I think I like it better than the original. The visual novel is wonderful.
- Kuhn is the 2nd ML, he has his own story with the FL and has no relation with her sister. He's actually a spy for Paveluc. - The battle of wits against Helen Selby is longer, and when FL knew she's going to drug ML, they communicated and worked together. In the game, ML is the one who trapped Selby and brought her down. I love that they communicated instead of FL planning by herself. - The 2nd prince lives until the end. He's indeed chased out from the castle and released from his status, but later his mother tries to kill him so he ends up helping the FL. -The queen is the last boss. I really like her last scene, it actually made me sympathize and pity her, and she's a formidable opponent until the end. That's why knowing that her life ends in Paveluc's hand in the novel/manhwa, which means that scene doesn't exist, disappoints me. Well, actually I have some parts I like in the manhwa too, but it's too centered on buffing up the FL to be the hero that other characters including the ML doesn't feel as intriguing and too 2 dimensional. Also her sister is such a turn off there. Now, knowing she'll get even more annoying later from the spoiler, I start to wonder if I should keep spending my coins for the manhwa lol.
