SPOILER CH 30 (the last chapter)

They resolve everything this chapter and it is also the last chapter (I’m crying). I haven’t finished reading it yet but Calliope confronts Ez about the misunderstanding, such as the rings that he always carries around. Ez explains to her that it’s the rings were made by melting the necklace she gave him. Calliope finally understands and feels really guilty so she starts apologizing.

From my rough translation, she says “Don’t you hate me? I hated you at the time, but I wanted you around, so I forced you to marry me. I even forced you to…[implies the early scene where it seems like Calliope forced herself on Ez].

However, Ez responds with the following (this my rough translation):

“I told you at the wedding that I accept this marriage. Whether it’s being your companion, holding you until your heart’s content, all that. Everything has been my long-cherished wish. If you weren’t willing, wouldn’t it then be called forced?”

They make up and that’s the end of The Predatory Marriage Between the King And The Paladin! The next episode is going to be an epilogue so I hope to see their baby :’)

Hi! Thank you for all of your spoilers...

I think it is not our problem if she raped him because that is part of their love story. Imagine if she didn't raped him will he have a moment with her when she totally hates him... And I think he's not that weak to let her raped him... remember he survived from prostitute house without letting anyone touching him and do you think he will become a paladin if he were a weak person... I don't think so... That's why I conclude that although she raped him, he didn't even protest and he let her do whatever she wants because he loves her so much... That is how they love works and we don't have any say on that because we where not on there shoes...

Anyway, I think anything about this story will not affect us... Hehehe So chillax guys....

(Sorry if there's a grammatical error in my paragraph)thank you!

As you said I was not talking about smut because the plots are often ridiculous and (although I think it is disgusting) rape is seen almost as arousing, but I cannot say anything about these stories because they are developed on a more sexual side than on the real plot.
Maybe I wrote while I was too angry but it really bothers me that now that in this manhwa the FL is the powerful and dominant one while the ML is the sub one many criticize the plot.

I was wrong to generalize by saying "everyone" but while I was reading the manhwa scans practically all the comments were literally: "Respect your husband", "I don't think to continue this manhwa since there is rape, too bad the art was nice" and others that they insulted the FL

Few have appreciated that for once the roles are reversed and the FL is in a dominant position and the fact that this manhwa was like a "parody" of the usual manhwa but with reverse roles (in fact I also love Melissa from Beware of the Villainess )

I was not angry because there were people criticizing the story, the plot is quite common and we have seen it many times with the ML being the dominant CEO / crown prince etc ... and the FL the little white lotus, and also if there was something as horrible as rape people would argue for hours about whether ML was ultimately valid or not

While in this case I have seen that the FL has been criticized by practically everyone and the people who give it a chance are few. it is obvious that there is controversy after all it is a controversial topic, but I would have liked a little more solidarity instead of immediately canceling the FL
