Ml knew fl was a fraud from the beginning. Ml is a general? commander of the army? and is very vigilant and has a lot of connection. If I'm not mistaken, he already knew who fl was, when he came home for the first time.

And I don't think there is a villain. The whole story just revolved around fl's daily life living as the duchess. There are many time skip, and ml's life in the war is never mentioned.
Even after ml came home, the time is very fast. And the author instant skip to ml's departure, so the story is very fast.
In the later stage of the novel, when fl and ml were getting along, fl was thinking about ml and his hobby. Since ml only how to kill, when ml came home, he either stays at home, or went hunting.
Yeah. But the smutty scene, and their first time happened at the alter part of the story. It's when fl and ml went to the royal palace. fl is depressed because everyone treated ml as a monster or something.
Yeah...fl and ml already developed feeling for each other, and fl was even relucant for ml to go to the war again. so, when ml went away and fl came to see him out, this time fl is really worried and anxious. For the years ml was gone, fl is scared to hear news about ml's death and was depressed for a long time. He missed ml, so when ml came back from his expedition holding a child, fl was angry.
Well, ml didn't why she was angry at first. And fl didn't explain her temper tantrums either. So this is the first time they somehow fought? well not really. In the end, ml solved it, by confessing his past, saying that he saw himself in the child and just wanted to adopt him.

In the latest chapter 18th he thought the baby would "fill her empty heart" because of the "recent miscarriage"
And... I'm surprised with the latest raw (ch 19) literally rate 19+ dayyumm. I thought this story would only explicitly showed the seggs. Lol. But, I see. I was wrong. Hehehe

I gotta say, bit surprised to see negative feedback about the characters or storyline because I think it's hilarious.
I was LOL (literally) from the 1st chapter. I mean, seriously she's got some kahunas and he didn't call her on it - probably because she's pretty and, after years at war, he needed the levity.
Anyway, I'm highly entertained and excited to see how these two work together.
