Actually the transmigrated author used the princess as tool to help the ML become emprerror.
ML is second in line if something happen with the princess (his family also have imperial blood). The writer set the princess to die in the hunting competition, so ML will step as next emperror and OG FL who marry him automatically become empress. Bianca can guess the plot so far, so she meddle to prevent princess' death.
Even though Bianca already saved the princess, what the princess' friend gossip about Bianca must be in some conspiration because they saw Bianca prepare with the event, also Bianca's death leads to complain from noble about princess' behaviour. Even though she's alive, she is pushed to step down from the throne, make ML as Emperror's successor (last pillar, if the ML not killed himself)
That trash author antagonist seems kinda an entitled narcissistic incel type with a main character, inferiority & victim complex.

First I'd like to clarify just in case that I'm talking about the author in the story and not the author of this book. Second she wished for Bianca to be miserable just because she was a character born with a golden spoon, but didn't have the same problem with the prince
Just found this novel because the author same with For My Derelict Favorite.
The transmigrated author actually in her 3rd year high school. She's from mediocre family, not too rich but also not too poor. She despise rich people because she always think they can solve everything just with money without do other effort. So she escape reality by writing novels, she portrayed herself as the OGFL. When she blames 'the powerful / skilled people' for her fate, the powerful came to her, asked why she blames him, why not she make effort to make her life better, she just said if she 'do her best' without describe what effort she had done.
The writer wants to be OGFL in her story. The powerful and the writer make a bet. If she can finish the story, she can posses OGFL body. She must finish all the pillars (as far as I remember, the pillars : OGFL met ML, OGFL found out her love for ML, OGFL feels Bianca as Villain, OGFL dan ML reconcile, Bianca's death, ML become emperror and marry OGFL), she can approach only one character (she choose to approach Bianca), and she can't lie.
The plothole for the novel she writes is she only make the story as fist person / OGFL point of view. So anything outside it is free will of the characters. This problem known when Bianca almost die because of carriage accident but ML saved her and unconsiously said he loved her.
Long story short, as spoiled in other posts (festival), Bianca brave herself to in relationship with the ML. Festival is 2nd pillar / OGFL found out her love for ML
3rd pillar / OGFL feels Bianca as Villain OGFL and the princess became friend. The pricess not send imperial ball invitation to Bianca. OGFL know it and approach ML asks to became his partner but he reject her. Bianca still can attend the event as ML's partner. She confronts OGFL and princess. The empress step down to clear everything so the party can be continued.
4th pillar / OGFL dan ML reconcile in hunting competition She prevent the princess' death in hunting competition, but rumours by princess's and OGFL's friend point Bianca must be in some conspiracy because how she can prepared and act to prevent the accident. Bianca can't stand the rumour and write a letter to the empress. OGFL goes to ML's house and scracht him with that rumour, point what he knows about Bianca, does he know all about her. This hit his nail, so ML rush Bianca to tell him everything. Bianca feels offended and she blurt is his fate is OGFL, not Bianca. He's angry and think what the hell is that. Bianca broke their relationship.
Bianca keep everything what happened in locked diary and plan to burn it when near her death.
5th pillar / Bianca's death Bianca confront OGFL in boating event. She told her about she had break up with ML, so she wants to know everything what OGFL told to ML that leads to the break up event. OGFL told everything. Bianca angry because everything OGFL said hit all his sore spot. Bianca slap OGFL, the action make OGFL drown to the lake. OGFL can't swim, so Bianca try to save her, but what she done leads to Bianca's death. Empress reply for Bianca's letter arrive when she already dead.
Bianca' parents and ML get info if Bianca died, they rush to the lake. They get her body home. ML can't accept her death, enters her room and found out her locked diary, he stole it and read it whe he come home. He found all the truth there.
ML saw the author in Bianca's funeral, approach her to rewrite the story to save Bianca. They have argument and ML get conclusion if the protagonist die, the pillar can't take effect, so he killed himself.
After ML died, he met the powerful who explain everything about the bet with author. Because of everything what Bianca done can shake ML, he gave him reward. He will turn back time to when the first pillar happen, this time everyone can act freely without pillars, so he can change the story.
ML back, he approach Bianca and tell her if he loves her. They get enganged and plan for the wedding.
There's event princess and duke from other kingdom come to the empire. The princess is attracted to ML, duke is attracted to Bianca. The princess make a mess by appointing ML to escort the princess from the kingdom in Bianca's event. Bianca and ML avenge her by pointing she needs to marry soon, so she get busy with all preparation process.
They got 2 boys, the oldest will be the heir of Bianca's family (because Bianca is the only daughter of the family, no other successor), the second son will be the heir of ML family (the duke still in good health, also he already has ML as the next successor). ML want to have a daughter, so they plan for the next one.
Sooo I read some more and here are the spoilers. After Bianca does the shopping she goes back home. When she was preparing to go sleep suddenly the butler informs her that there was a letter from Ares. For some reason he delivered it himself and just left right after? Which is kinda weird since the letter was just about him writing about the things that Leah told him about her new etiquette teacher -_-
Why would you come so urgently to deliver a letter to someone you like but the contents are about another person???? Bianca was also confused by it and hurt a little too. That's how she goes to bed. The day finally came and Bianca anxiously waited for Ares to show up. Fortunately he arrives on time and they go to the festival riding a carriage. At some point Bianca proposed for them to walk further instead of riding a carriage. There are a lot of people so they hold hands in order to not lose each other in the crowd and go to see a play together. They have a romantic moment and then continue their date to the wine bar. While they are walking Bianca asks again about him liking her and he is like you will see when we get there.
When they arrive he leads her to the second floor to a place where he shows her that he was actually coming here so that he can look at her while she was at that tea house. (I saw this confession from a mile away lol. I like the slight predictability of this novel)
In conclusion of their evening they go back to the carriage but during their walk they somehow end up almost kissing but then again they get interrupted by Leah. She sees them in a such compromising position and is like all flustered and saying things such as: "I did not know that you were together like that". Bianca has an inner monologue again about how this is the pillar of the story. The fact that Leah realizes her feelings for Ares and not that they needed to go to the festival together. She gets all emotional and upset that everything is futile and no she was a fool for believing that she could change her fate. (I do not understand this part because it is not clear what those pillars are and just assuming that its Leah falling in love and not smth else is too rushy for my personal taste). Then she runs off and Ares follows after her. They get into a fight in a back alley? Here where a part that really annoyed me started and I honestly skimmed through it because of that. She is all upset. Starts crying. Ares is also distressed. At some point was there also author present there? I did not understand that part well but Ares could see her and even said that: "It's because of that woman right?" Tries to go after her but Bianca stops him because she does not want him to anything. Then weirdly enough Ares says that he understands everything that she is thinking. This made me think that perhaps he also knows something more than he lets on. Anyway after that they actually make up. Bianca asks him to promise her that he would not regret about anything that was between them. He says that he would never do that and they started dating. He drops her off at her house and lives after kissing her hand.
Yeah. I hooked up reading other title from this author now. Feel refreshing because I feel a little bit different than other series nowadays.
The author mention 7 titles finished of her works so far. From all title, only For My Derelict Favorite adapted into Webtoon until now and quite success, the art beautiful. Wish this can attract othe title from this author to adapt as Webtoon, too. I wish I was A Supporting Character / 내가 조연이었다 and After Love Ended /사랑이 끝난 후 can be adapted into Webtoon, too.
