CEO's Sudden Proposal

Nope, Little Treasure stayed with ML. MC left alone. A few years after MC gave birth and working outside, ML and Little Treasure will sneak into the house behind her back to meet their son/brother. MC eventually found out tho because the child kept talking about big brother (he's very, very, very attached to Little Treasure). Later Little Treasure came visiting in front of MC by himself, and she couldn't stop him because she felt guilty for leaving him behind. At the same time, ML was passive-aggressively forcing MC to return to him.

He Dad is a hidden trash maybe. It got boring in the middle because I was sick of MC keep getting targeted for no reason and ML who keep lying to her. There are also too many elaborate dog blood plans just to make MC suffer....
That Nora is probably the ex-gf that left him immediately after knowing ML decided to adopt Little Treasure. She suspected ML had an affair with his sister-in-law because of how much Little Treasure resemble him (also the reason why the big brother became his enemy for a while) though he actually wasn't that attached to her. It's just another girl who can't face reality and think everything need to revolve around her. You'll find that all of MC's love rival are the same cookie cutter type. The main plot of this novel is actually just: "WHO the f is the ACTUAL culprit of all these mess?!?!?!?"

Probably true. I mean, isn't their next child supposed to be a son? I mean, sure Hazel left at some point in the novel and Aaron and Jason would sneak peeks at his son/younger bro until plot shenanigans happen but at this point, I can only hope we get another Royal Chef, Crazy Empress manhua change

This other woman has some information about the brother's secrets or whatnot, so he pretends that he doesn't love Hazel and is like 'Andy's real mother came back, we don't need you anymore' or something.. because the lady blackmailed him.
So he abandons her for years while she's pregnant even, and he doesn't even secretly explain or tell her anything... I can't even remember why, I don't know if the book ever gives an explanation for why he couldn't talk to her like a reasonable mature adult? Instead of the whole 'oh I love you it's for your own good it's dangerous to know too much' blah blah blah trash reasons (when everyone KNOWS not knowing is the worst when everything that lives is out to get you, you lose even the basic right to make decisions and protect yourself..).
What a pathetic excuse of a thing [not even a man] lmao, letting others blackmail him into hurting his own love. That is NOT love. He has no love for Hazel if he can do that.

Nope, she never hate Jason. Love him, even. She tried to be the best understanding stepmom she could be, but I guess sometimes the pressure from everyone around her, particularly her own husband's may made her snaps. Never harmed him physically, but I'm not sure about psychologically cuz tbh Jason was very dependant on her and Aaron when younger, so her leaving (without him) may leave a bit of a scar to him psychologically. Anyway the kid grows up magnificently cool, with a brocon lil bro (they're practically inseparable once Hazel and Aaron got together again) and a smart girlfriend. Yayy happy ending for our main protags

Okay, after sampling out the novel and manhua both deciding they're really not for me- I HATE dog blood romance with passion-i keep hearing that there is a drama adaptation of this called unforgettable love. is this true? is it actually the drama adaptation of this novel/manhua???
and If it is, can someone tell me if it follows the dog blood plot or it takes a milder route just with the romance and no over the board melodrama/conspiracies.

Series discussion

I can’t believe one notif made me spedread this series again. You heard me, I read nearly all the available chapters that are free online or at aggregator sites (mostly at website B, I assume was a censored version? I have a vague memory of Hazel’s first drugging incident cuz of Jason trying to set her up was worse in my memory that’s why I said tamer version)

Personally, it was a good read. It reminded me why Aaron is one of my fave modern manhua CEO MLs (at least the adaptation not the novel thanks to the f up spoilers just ruining the feel)

A quick review to those interested, I’m actually not fond of the Nora arc nor the character Shu. I was really hoping Aaron’s sister remained a single mom. I understand Nora was mentally ill but because her backstory felt so rushed or had barely any showing (focusing on the narrative), I couldn’t (fully) understand these men suddenly being sentimental (including Aaron when Nora is OFFICIALLY dead. Like, this woman I know is mentally ill but she allowed and basically sweet talked a doctor to falsify her illness and riled these men up, mostly Shu but Aaron’s reaction was consistent until she died-died, it was just off). Shu, maybe but I was expecting when he nearly lost Clara or his baby, there would be development. Nora’s brother… felt like it should make sense so I guess it was okay. Violet’s last appearance felt so unnecessary, she stalked Hazel for one more chapter and didn’t show up after and got forgotten (which I didn’t mind but the plot hole). Same with the one guy who had a crush on Hazel at HS who just showed up for one chapter (though thank goodness we didn’t get jealousy bs from both him and the hot blue haired doctor senpai). Honestly, props to not getting an amnesia arc or forced acting like a bad ML. I had trouble finishing the last arc just because I couldn’t stand the last woman antagonist and Hazel was overreacting BUT with a cooler head now, I think Hazel suddenly losing her cool could be attributed to pregnancy hormones and the stress on the potential Jason’s fiancée family. It’s a dumb excuse, I know but it’s something I can get behind now. It was also nice Jason and Hazel had that talk about why he likes her so much due to her principles and how she’s an idiot for falling everytime for traps but that’s also the reason I liked her. Can’t believe it took a long time for Aaron to get the drugged ML trope though. Speaking of the Paris arc, minus the terribly pathetic antagonists, I feel like the author wasted not extending the role on the Paris recurring cast. The grandpa and grandson duo had potential to return and just show up. The change to the child is fine though (the special had a boy first but the ending is a girl because Jason DID say he wanted a sister if they ever got kids)

Hazel’s secret origin actually got forgotten. Sure, we got the idea she and Hannah are probably related but all those hints and not big bad in sight to show at the end. Hilarious actually and I don’t mind

Edit: last arc definitely ended abruptly but I’m happy Hazel actually knew from the start she’s adopted, the last antagonistic chick has one ironic comeuppance (I’m embarrassed not seeing it after all these rereading) but given Hazel was already stressed on the (failed) what-if in-laws, plus pregnancy hormones, the explanation was really good, just really abrupt end. Felt weird the last arc and Paris arc was Aaron’s off moments (the latter ironically, he had an idea his secretary was the mole and he was meeting the mastermind of that arc but lack of preparation? I know he’s not really perfect but it’s not his turf). I’m really glad Hazel’s friends (minus Violet) was amazing. They should’ve extended a bit on them, side couples and whatnot

That's why I went here looking for spoilers on the novel. The webtoon is too slow for my liking.

She really hated Jason ? I mean after all she was his (step)mother  Did she ever see him as her son or just her husband son ?  It kinda makes me hate her that she hated Jason when it’s actually Aaron’s fault  Aaron divorced her not Jason why tf would she hate a kid  waaait, I could imagine her as all these typical stepmothers in manhuas who gonna do everything to get her child the heir  Or these mothers who support the wrong doings of their kids or just ignore it , bc it’s their child
