Personally I don't think Guts will use a behelit or succumb to the Beast's temptation. The big difference between Guts and Griffith has always been that Guts wants to earn his power and victories with his own two hands, whereas Griffith will snatch at power regardless of the cost or where it's coming from. Guts has already seen where Griffith's choices lead to and has rejected that method, he's not going to choose that path now just to become an inferior version of Femto. Or at least I hope not.I think the same. Guts has been portrayed for years as the struggler who might be destroyed, but somehow always manage to stand up as a human, even if he is close to either break completely or succumb to other types of powers (like the berserker armor).



Personally, I think Puck's Behelit (I mean Guts' Behelit ;p) is destined for Casca. It'd be quite poetic to see her having her vengeance on Griffith and becoming completely, utterly free from any kind of his influence. Griffith was reborn from an unborn child of her and Guts, so technically Griffith in his reborn form can be sacrificed by her after activating the Behelit.

I'm worried about two things-



1) Guts going berserk in a messed up manner



2) Schierke will probably fail to connect with/find Casca because of Kushan intervention, and she may get harmed because the ritual gets broken midway

During the Millenium Falcon arc Schierke etches a personal talisman on Gut's brand, restraining the Beast with ethereal chains. Something I noticed during my re-read of this chapter was that the beast of darkness is no longer chained. This could mean that Guts has accepted its help already. The next chapter will confirm all our doubts. The bad news is that we don't exactly know when the next chapter will release.

Good observation!! That's really cool, I'm really excited for the next. If the Kushaan pirates find him, I wonder if they'll just be slaughtered by Guts (if he loses control and goes Berserk)
