Damn, this was devastating. Guts and his sword are a rather deep plot point in his character arc for the longest time, everso subtly addressed again and again, but in a long while not this explicitly.



Theorist will have a field day speculating where is his next development going.



Stellar chapter, I love when we get slow burner chapters such as this to let us live a bit the moment on how fucked the situation is.

Man, I really wish these chapters released more monthly. But I understand you can’t rush perfection, so I shall wait patiently.

This was absolutely devastating for guts. Watching him loose his trust in his own skill and his sword is not something i thought i will ever see. He was ready to settle down and forget Griffith but now....

Also our boy Isidero lost his mermaid GF just like that. I hope this will make him less goofy and a serious guy. That will be a nice development for him.



Guts need to get back on his feet and stop the touchy feely power of friendship nonsense. The only way he can find peace is by destroying Griffith. To do that he will need to become the unstoppable Absolute Unit he was before he became soft. Go with the Skeletor!



Now that Casca is not here he doesn't need theses people.

I hope they give an explanation on why Puck and iveleria are still here.
