Did the art get worse, or are my eyes just bad ?

Just seems like he dumbed down the art. Its kind of similar but in the same time it looks a bit worse than usual.

Same, I was thinking the same thing while reading it. Hopefully this is Miura’s way of indicating he’s trying to move the plot along and then he’ll get back to his normal artwork. However, it could be a natural progression in his work. He could be leaning towards mainstream art design as it’s evolved throughout the years.

I bet the ending is going to be Griffith being forgiven and Gutts and Caska being best buddies with him again

Miura might have slowed down, but he is not an idiot because of it.

Man these chapters keep getting worse...can we all agree that Miura's staff and in-betweeners are probably responsible for this artwork? I honestly just wish Miura could find a way out of his contract and just give up Berserk.

For me it's hard to care about a manga when I can tell the creator doesn't and is just stuck doing it because it's become a corporation within itself that employs so many people in the industry (merch, anime, his staff, and so on). You could tell Miura was having fun with Gigantomakhia, wish they'd let him go back to working on something new that he's passionate about.

I wonder how much is done by his staff. Hope the storyboard is entirely Miuras.

I wish he would end Berserk in this lifetime. No surprise he's gotten tired of working on the same project for 30 years... I feel like he's just torturing himself at this point.

You can tell that Berserk is now a chore to him.......well it has been for so many years.

Guts have black hair turning into white

Griffith has white hair turning into black

The Irony is real

Heh, didn't notice that. Hard to imagine Griffith with black hair.

lots of dialogue in this chapter... gave me flashbacks to reading the last chunk of chapters in hunter x hunter, but it was pretty good stuff mostly

Shit ton of dialogue in the chapter. Dragged a bit.

Well if that means we ll get more chapters, and maybe finally get to guts and casca, I don't mind.

Yeah the art seemed a bit down. It felt like it wasn't as detailed as berserk usually is. Hope yer right about more chapters and we don't get another hiatus and return to Caska soon.
