So...Now I personally got confirmation of the thing I have suspected a while...Rakshas is same as Griffith and Others....An Apostle!!

and looks like citizen of Falconia are scared of them...as sure hell as they should be...never trust An Apostle...Though Rakshas is one of the Craziest 1 of them it seems...so Entranced by Griffith that he wants to kill him? *Shudder*

Damn I am enjoying fight between Bakiraka Clan members...amazing fight.

Guts is changing his enemies, those that are Lucky Ones that survive encounter with him and are not Apostle...MC SHOUNEN (Or is it SEINEN because this is Berserk?) CHARM!!!! XD

LOL...They made Flamethrower!!!! and Rakshas uses his Final Form....Erica....Luca...ERICA THE FOOL!!! WHY THE HELL SHE CAME THERE!!?!?!

That water-hose contraption's real purpose might've really been to act as a flamethrower like how they used it because of Gaiseric's rather violent time as Supreme Emperor before it became Griffith's playground.

Raksas tore a horse into two to put out the flames all over him but it was a few buckets shorts of being successful then Erica came charging in... Aside from Guts and Casca, she's the only one left who he considers as family, don't let him lose her too.

I meant it more as a rethorical question, but it seems I wasn't clear enough.

Erica's been with Rickert for their first apostle encounter and been at his side when fending off monsters. She knows it's dangerous, but she's survived thus far and it's probably given her a false sense of invulnerability.

She also obviously loves and cares for Rickert, and she already declared that she would follow him into danger. When people sense someone they love is in danger, they do irrational things. It may be a trope, but it happens quite a bit in real life.

Also keep in mind she is a child.

Indeed, you have a good point there. Nevertheless, because she is a child, I'd expect her to be more scared, and with all the time they have been confronted with appostles/monsters, she should be more aware how dangerous it can be by now. Yes, love can lead to perform irrational actions; I just didn't like how it turned out. We will see in the next chapters whether this will lead to Rickerts character development (because of Erica's possible death), or just a rescue Erica mission, which feels kinda cheap, and possibly unnecessary for the story.

the ending felt cheap

This. That was so cliché, why did she even bother going there when everyone told her not to?

Nice revelation of the apostles true form though.

Well isn't that obvious dude ?

I feel like another person/Apostle will come into play within the next 1-2 chapters. Someone to say "Down, Rakshas!" So maybe this is sort of the climax for before someone comes in and calms everyone down.

Great chapter. Don't get me wrong, I like Erica a lot, but she always does some stupid shit. Why the hell did she go out. She totally messed things up BIG TIME. Other than that, SILAT is beginning to be one of my favorite characters. I see a lot of progress in his character. That fight with Raksas was insane.

What the hell Erica? Why do that? Felt so random for her to just run out there...

In this Chapter one thing really caught my attention!!!

Rakshas:

1) Talked about other apostles

2) Then said "I am the same" and lastly

3) "Which is why I want to killl the Falcon with my own hands"

I already knew Rakshas wanted to kill Griffith but now from what I read I can only deduce other apostles have this desire too?? Whattt??????

So why do they follow him?

Are they obligated or something?

I thought they followed him cause they worshiped him like a god or something.

Do they want to kill God? Just like the Emperor? So why don't they work together?

I think he was just saying that he was like other Apostles in that they will tenaciously follow something. This goes not only for a sacrifice (as Rickert said), but also for Griffith. Rakshas definitely has some sort of history that is to be revealed regarding his desire to kill Griffith though, because so far he and Ganishka have been the only Apostles I can remember with the intent of killing/becoming more powerful than Griffith/Femto. Most others seem either to follow him somewhat begrudgingly (Zodd) or with zeal (Locus).
