Berserk Chapter 328 Discussion

I weren't expecting another flashback on Guts but I'm loving it! I can't believe he met an elf before Puck.

I absolutely loved this chapter! Berserk hasn't really ever had a flashback ever, which is understandable because we pretty much got Gut's life story in the Golden Age arc, but still it's really cool to see what has happened in between his work with Gambino and the Band of the Hawks!

Guts flashback! Haven't seen Gambino in a while..but he was a dick as usual. Did the fairy save him in prison too? I wonder if we'll see that one again

To have the best after this mini-arc. Miura going to put us in Elfhem, we revealed the past o god of hand or something on Skullknight. Although it could be the three in same time.



Finally, I see it as a taste for the best. Therefore trust Miura, he prepare something big (at least I hope) after this arc.

Awkward. That scene with the castle somehow reminded me of Griffith's dream of his castle in the first few volumes. Anyway, other than that, I'm surprised with the elf encounter. I wonder how Miura will link this to Elfhelm. More waiting...



Edit: Oh and I'm reminded by someone else's post in another forum. I do seem to remember Guts saying in the first few chapters of the manga how he hated elves. The flashback might explain why. :D Hooray Miura for careful planning and revealing!

Martino helping out Guts so eagerly was so shady but he played the nice old guy part so well that even I fell for it until he escaped when Guts took the bait. It's dastardly and clever at the same time. Guts being thrown in that cell might be what saved him because hard labor in his state would've been an immediate death sentence. At least he got some company in there. I'm surprised that he was even able to see that tiny elf from so long ago in the first place.  

I really liked this chapter. It was way better than the couple of previous chapters.

So... we wait for 5 months only to get a flashback...
