haha.  My constant criticism of the author's lame attempt at shonen-izing the story must have gotten to him.  We now get a flashback to taunt us with why we bothered to start reading the manga in the first place.

Huh. Quite the refreshing change of pace from Guts killing shit. Good to see ol' Gambino again too.

This is what I thought too. Good old no fantasy flashback, and that monkey ossan was funny.

I don't mind the slow releases, tbh I'm really not looking forward to berserk ending... Would like to read it for a decade longer at least, even if it's only a chapter every 3-4 months. Then again if it did finish up I could reread it from start to finish which is a tempting concept.

Probably close to  out of the third Berserk movie. three at fours month

Finally, Berserk is getting interesting again... I'm liking this flashback arc at the moment, let's hope it stays good and young Guts is so kawaii xD.

Was not expecting a random flashback... it came out of nowhere and until I saw the elf at the end I was thinking it was useless storywise; but I still thought it was a great chapter.

It was a nice change of pace, as someone already pointed.

An adventure about young Guts, wow you can really see how Miura has improved his art since the last time he drew young Guts, amazing. Is that a fairy??
