Guts is in terrible condition, maybe even the worst yet, and that's saying something given all the shit he's been through. Poor guy...

Is it safe to say Moonlight Child=Griffith? Look at his hair in this chapter. It has that same ethereal, cloud-like form.

Haven't read it yet, but isn't Moon Kid Guts and Caska's child? I mean I always thought he was .... That "monster" form was used up at the Eclipse and he returned like that.

I thought it was Caska+Griffith, not Guts. Since he looks like Griffith, and Guts seemed to be disgusted by him early on.

Wow, I just found out that it takes months for the chapters to come out. F**k why did I marathon this =__=. Also funny how much people have forgotten about this manga, I guess I'll be one of those people too lol.

Really, this mermaid chapters feels like a filler. I wish the author could have just continued the story with them being on Elfheim already rather than prolonging it with stupid pirates and Sea monsters.

Also I missed the part of Berserk when it was only him and Puck killing apostles and ofc the Golden Age arc. I mean I'm fine with demons and other fantasy creatures heck even the Godhands but when the magic manipulation, random sadist chick and naruto wannabe got introduced to this manga, it just didnt felt as good as it was before.

I still find it weird  that Casca is like a vegetable lol. With absolutely no memories from her past and is very useless because from my point of view, it was still like yesterday that she was the co-leader of the BoTH but then she got raped by Griffith and lost all her memories...

With the rise of the new "Falcon Kingdom" or w/e Griffith called it, this a  manga is gonna feel more like a 21th-century RPG game rather than an 80's manga.

Still made it to my favorites because of Guts badassery.

In short:

-Guts and Casca have sex

-Casca's pregnant at the time of the Eclipse, and is subsequently raped by Femto, tainting the child

-the demon baby is born shortly after the Eclipse

-Femto uses the demon baby to incarnate himself into the physical world, hence the Griffith we know now

-here's the tricky part. The demon baby either split itself into Griffith and the Moonlight boy, or Griffith and the boy are one. I'm personally going with the latter.

Unless the boy isn't related to anyone, but that really wouldn't make any sense.

For some time I've been wondering if that kid could be the Fairy King (it's less likely than him being Caska child though).

But if it is similar to Gastu when he was a child with long hair + Casca, seriously it does not look like Griffith at all, the hair in the astral world looks like flames like the witch, they only look like curls, but if you look closely they are really flames .... in the comic is clearly said that it is the son of Gastu, without considering that before the eclipse there is a scene in which Casca touches her belly and feels tump tump and she makes the face surprise ......

And whose the child at the end?

Scroll up a little for some speculation on that.

So i just caught to berserk, it's probably the best series  ever but im gonna stop right here and come back when im 27- 30, im 17, he hasn't even started to fight the god hand yet! my kids are gonna be reading this with me 0.o, i just hope he finish this b4 i die cause that would suck ass, maybe u read manga in the afterlife?

U know that Miura is ~46 years old now? You should rather start worrying about whether or not he lives long enough to finish this stoery 'cause chances are he will be gone long before your future children will be old enough to read it with you...

And considering that it took him 22 years to get where we are now...
