Sir Owen points out exactly what those self-righteous noblemen did wrong and definitely put them in their place. Those Vandimion cronies were planning to worm their way out of this but Griffith allowed a special entrance by the Pontiff himself.



The goddamn Pope is undeniably gay for Griffith as well to the point that he forced his very frail body to buckle his knees and prostrate a la Mozgus style right before the supposed peasant. And due to the words of the old man, all those skeptical soldiers flocked like sheep to celebrate their newly-found savior with ulterior motives.
