Loved this chapter, Guts seems to feel more comfortable with the Band of the Hawk... this is just gonna hurt so much more when we see how Griffith betrays Guts :(
I've been listening to the Fate/Zero soundtrack while reading this, and "Rule the Battlefield" was playing as I was reading Griffith audaciously proclaimed he'd get his own kingdom. I chuckled a bit at the irony.
Great chapter; I laughed a fair bit and the character development is spot on.
Griffith gives me hero vibes. So sure of himself and very kind to allies and people he likes. It's really interesting how Guts is our hero, it's like the cookie cutter roles have been swapped!
