Berserk Chapter 1 Discussion

It was a good first chapter, really sets a tone.

First I read this chapter, then I can not stop loving it. Guts is so cool

I really liked Chapter 1. It sets up a mystery on why Guts knows this people, why are these creatures going after him, and why is he so on the edge about people getting close to him and touching him. The only thing I can say that I don’t like is the artwork, but it’ll probably get better as I keep reading.

It's about time I start the manga that inspired many enemy designs in my favorite game (Dark Souls ♥). Just look at that Cobra Apostle, looks just like the Sen Fortress Snake guards~



Despite Puck being a dude, his body was a trap and I almost ended up falling in entirely (elves might be genderless for all I know).



Guts' big-ass sword looked as satisfying as ever, making me hear the clang every time it hits~ His Machine Gun Crossbow has a 90% hit rate as well :o
