Griffith manipulating the fuck out of Caska. It’s all a game to him.

I'm going to assume for my sanity & blood pressure levels that this will be a strategical, temporary goodbye and not a "break up" or long term goodbye.

That said, seeing Griffith broken and quivering on top of Casca was distressing. I hope that was pure emotion and not plotting.

Guts never had time to have a proper life, his childhood was battle. So up until he met the Hawks all he was despair and battle, one cant expect someone with such a traumatizing past be without faults. Such as guts now just realizing some things. But i doubt even if he had never left the hawks, like griffith wouldnt have done something eventually. Yet to see an owner of a behelit not use it

It's all messed up now... But we use these regrets from the past as a reminder not to make them again tomorrow. At least they can't mess it up twice.

I can't help but wonder if Griffith's move with Casca wasn't a subtle and very smart manipulative maneuver to keep her with him...

How funny it is Guts feels his dream was accomplished by being with the Band of the Hawk now, when this entire disaster -- a disaster that ruined the lives of countless people -- would've been averted had he realized that before ever leaving the Band to begin with.

Did anybody else notice that Casca was hearing heartbeats when she held her stomach?

Sad chapter tbh, seeing Griffith all weak/fucked up and Guts having to leave alone :(
