20th Century Boys Chapter 212 Discussion

Two things..

One, that was so messed up that Fukubei basically hate smashed Kenji's sister I'm assuming just to say he did it. This obsessive attachment he has with Kenji is disguisting.

Two, this is the third chapter in a row where the chapter ends with "You're Kenji, right?" and I just think it's unnecessary to rehash that at the end of each chapter. One of the small pacing and transition problems I have with this arc of the story, but I'm really hoping for a killer ending

It was interesting to see how Friend ordered the death of kirito's bf and then manipulated her.

Oh my god ... That was twisted! I actually feel extremely bad for Kenji's sister now, I wonder if she ever actually loved friend, and then woke up one day and realized he was a monster.

Friend is just a twisted, sociopathic freak.

Necessary or not, I found this chapter very interesting.

It's so fucked up that "Friend" used the same words from a dead man.



I guess Kenji's sister, despite her being smart, cannot escape falling in love with a more handsome and more charismatic person.
