Freaking epic, the last chapter but not the last of the manga, but the last of the 20th century. Done with Old Testament, now it's time for the new chapter of humanity

Can we see the robot's appearance already please

They are going to get messed up by that giant robot ... Although I didn't think that the whole virus terrorism plot was still going on. Seems kind of pointless that they stopped doing that when they first started it years ago.

Wow, kind of early for a final confrontation when it's only 4th volume out of 22. Makes me wonder if the whole ordeal with making Kenji's childhood fantasies come true is just a facade for something bigger. And now i'm really curious about the meaning of that pointing hand in Jump, assuming that's a real thing.

The fated "bloody new years" has come. The atomic powered behemoth, with the power of germ warfare has been set loose on Tokyo, destroying and killing all in it's path. The pathogens have been unleashed worldwide, wreaking havoc globally. The "Undergound Emperor Kenji" and his "9 demons" are prepared to do what they must. The contrast between both sides is almost comical. One with a monstrous killer robot with the power to instantly kill with the power of germ warfare, unfathomable numbers and political power, the other with 9 ordinary people with handguns. Upon going aboveground, Yoshitsune asks Otcho how he came up with the "friend" logo. He looks to an evacuated corner store and leads the group inside. It is a simple reference to the pointer finger in manga magazines, and a play on words refering to his nickname, given to him because of his large eyes. The group laughs, almost in futility. All of these terrible and large scale acts of terror have stemmed from their wild imaginations from childhood.



Their reactions here are beautiful yet realistic. In the face of impossible odds, what is there to do except laugh and just go.
