Yup, saw it coming. The man has dug too deep. Reminded me of Death Note where investigator's girlfriend picked up Kira's case after his death and nearly pinpointed it to Light but a chance encounter with him was her demise.
That was sad ... He was finally going to make things right and choose family over work, but instead, that cop seems to be on the side of "friend" ... So I guess they are using some kind of virus to kill.
