Intriguing story. Becomes more interesting as each chapter go

Endo visits Donkey's wife to find out more about the reason for the suicide. While Donkey didn't seem to have problems himself, a former student of him did, being involved with "friend". Now, who is this "friend", the name he is referred to? It is likely that he is one the childhood friends.

                        Its funny that they all stayed up to watch the moon landing but I guess its epic still, donkey grew up to be a good man..

Was that supposed to be Friend as a child? It was very cool seeing an important historical moment in the context of the boy's lives.

So Friend is operating in real time, whoever he is ... I actually think he is whoever the kid that said "I feel bad for Collins" is ... Though not really since I believe that the author did that intentionally but who knows if it was a trick or the truth ...
