In the ring, both of them were able to get their frustrations and feelings out. Hopefully it's enough for Mashiba to take the world title.



Ippo wasn't wrong that inviting Kumi over to nurse Ippo would just complicate things. ^^; But, now she knows that her brother has an actual chance, which might have alleviated some of the stress on her shoulders.

Did we get a time jump or something? Isn't this supposed to be late 90s or early 2000s at best?

This was a rare moment when Mashiba was genuinely grateful towards Ippo ;). Itagaki recording the sparring and then uploading it online will be a mistake.. thought he was smarter than that damn

The build up to Ippo’s return gets bigger and better, hope they finally deliver soon.

After something way rougher than a spar should be, 7 rounds marks the end of the session. And the after moments were nice as well. Let's just see how viral Itagaki's video got.

That was quite a cliffhanger I wonder what has happened here

I loved how the fight has evolved from a simple spar to a brother-in-law moment. Ippo and Mashiba both ranting about kumi while still delivering blows, amazing!

I find it funny how many people just comment once on a random Hajime no Ippo chapter and then never post again, lol. Never seen that in another series, at least not this frequently.



The brawl was pretty fun. Good that Mashiba came out ahead, it would look dumb if the world title contender lost in a sparring match. And I guess Itagaki ... posted the video? As others I'm a bit confused about the timeline, but I guess it doesn't matter.
