Bleach Chapter 686 Discussion

We care about supporting characters because Ichigo is a dull, generic, over powered hero with all the personality of a brick whose trademark was gaining more power merely to protect others, in true generic hero style.

The supporting cast was the actual meal, Ichigo was the room temperature glass of water passed off as the beverage to ensure we enjoyed it just that much less.

And so it ends with that typical "everyone gets kids" and everyone ships are answered.

I see potential in Ichi and Orih kid tho Kazui that power like DAMN!

Kubo do everyone some justice and released a special book to answer everyones question -prays in head-

I wonder if the butthurt shippers will pull a Naruto over on Gelbooru.

naruto had a legit terrible ending tho. Problematic as hell too. This is like the polar opposite of that.

Not the ending, mate. On Gelbooru, every single picture with Hinata or Sasuke is downvoted to oblivion. It's been going for well over an year now.

While that's shipper war thing, those pairings WERE legitimately bad. Kishimoto pretty much worshiped domestic abuse there.

Domestic abuse? Seemed more like masochism to me.

This manga really should've ended with Aizen's defeat -_-

why would you say that lol there will be more unresolved plot like more bankai never shown if that happens

At least the character's fate were less ambiguous

A pretty unsatsifying which was to be expected at this point.

At least the shippers would be somewhat satisfied. Except for the Ichigo and Rukia shippers lol

This manga really should've ended with Aizen's defeat -_-

I just wished this manga ended with a bang

But Aizen is gonna carry that weight for the rest of his life.

Well at least it ended with everyone happy, Rukia finally became a captain and had a daughter with Renji. Ichigo and Orihime married and gave birth to a son. Yuzu and Karin are all grown up somehow Isshin is missing. Everyone who went to Ichigo's high school in Ichigo's house except Uryu and Chad who is now a boxer. Ichigo, Orihime, Rukia, Renji, Karin, Yuzu, Tatsuki, Keigo, and Mizuro are all watching Chad's boxing match on TV. In the end, Yhwach was disappointed that he failed to make life and death as one.

Well finally there it goes, the last chapter. Though glad I finally reached the summit.

Have always heard how underwhelming and incredibly rushed Bleach's ending was, though I can agree on the rushed part for a little, but for me it was no way near underwhelming or some down-bad conclusion,as we know the author was forced to do it this way, so have to be thoughtful there too.   Still if it was for some 20 odd chapters more, few things could've been expanded much more in detail. Like we never knew what exactly happened with Urahara and Yoruichi after their fight with that Sternritter, which I strongly hope the upcoming adaptation of TYBW should work upon.

Also I wasn't into shippings in this series at all, so couldn't care less who Ichigo ended up with. Fine with Orihime and would've been too if it was Rukia.

Was a cool read from the start to the very end, and I guess one of those few series for me where i have a liking to almost all of the characters. 8/10.
