So there's 1 more chapter, an extra and a big announcement upcoming.

What happen to the Kido corp? Are they disbanded already? Seriously there's no ending to the unexplained issues caused by Kubo.

Lol no immediate aftermath of the battle with Yhwach? Just a 10 year timeskip, ok.......



RIP Ukitake, but it's nice to see Rukia become a captain finally. It's pretty disappointing seeing Renji STILL isn't a captain after 10 goddamn years. I'm sure he has improved greatly since the battle against the Quincies, but he's still a Vice, while Iba, who we've literally NEVER seen in combat, is now a captain. What the hell was up with the end of this chapter? I fucking swear Kubo, you better not try to pull some funny shit like "You fools, Yhwach isn't dead just yet" in the final fucking chapter. The resolution of this arc was already rushed as fuck, he better not be trying something bigger and "better."



I have a strong feeling the announcement will be a new anime. I know some people despised this arc greatly, and I personally wasn't extremely fond of it either, but it would still be nice to see the rest of this story animated. If that's the case, I wouldn't object to the thought of Kubo working directly with the anime staff to give them information about things he didn't have time to include in the manga. If that saves the anime from showing the same rushed-as-fuck ending, then that would be good.

The thing is he can answer some of this question by showing one small panel without consuming a large space and the need of dialogue.

The issue, as of right now, is we immediately have a time skip without even something post Ichigo cutting Yhwach in half.  No dying words from Yhwach to Ichigo/Uryu, nothing about what's going on with Aizen.  The worlds need a Soul King in order to not fall apart, so someone had to take up the mantle.  There is a hint at the end of the chapter, as well as a panel showing black reaitsu, that does seem to be Yhwach/Soul King related.



However, next week there is going to be a big announcement.  I am highly skeptical to say sequel considering the rushing we've had lately, but some people are predicting some sort of huge plot twist with Yhwach, so I won't leave it out as a possibility.  If not though, then yes this timeskip was very abrupt, and it really does suck we couldn't at least have a few pages after the battle first.



The other option which I think is probably more likely is the anime returning.  However when it comes to that, we most likely wouldn't get it until around Summer 2017.  Still the anime could fill in a lot of gaps that we weren't able to see in the manga, and that would be a huge plus in my books.  So we'll just have to see what it is, though we're going to have to wait 2 weeks since SJ is on break next week.+1

Slice of life chapter.

By over dragging those fucking fodder fights, Kubo killed this series. A pity really.

For someone who followed Bleach for years this chapter makes me cry in the bad way. Seriously, they rushed the ending, skipped final battle, did not reveal plot important details (what happened 1000 years go, Ichigo's bankai power etc.)...

Yep this chapter pretty much 1000% confirms to me we are about to get a sequel announcement.

Pretty lame chapter regardless if Kubo is trolling.  If he is that pretty much confirms her has nothing left in the tank.  



Nice to know that the story is FINALLY over.
