My bad, wrong training I guess. But was there a time when Hitsugaya actually said somethiing about mastering a bankai or were you referring only to Kubo's words?

That doesn't say "master", but the wikia does, and they use VIZ translations for quotes.Oh, so we were referring to the same training. It looks like both of the mentioned teasers(sword-technique and 'real' bankai) didn't pay off.

I was expecting something better.
2/5 just cause it's not only Zaraki-centric, but this fight Zaraki VS Thor is 1/5, and this thing about the Bankai/Zanpakuto Spirit is really boring and predictable...
