Quick reminder please: What's Ichigo up to?

Mayuri's fight and its conclusion is more reminiscent of the old quality of Bleach. Been a long time since I enjoyed a fight.

Hitsugaya and Matsumoto were zumbified alive, so 99% of the people in bleachasylum including me were predicting that Mayuri would de-zumbify them.



Htsugaya had no bankai while fighting Bazz, so we still have to see how strong his bankai got.

I finally saw my man, Shunsui!! I've been waiting for him to show up for weeks. Can't wait for him to reveal more of his shikai abilities. What's up with him having to deal with gun users haha.



In any case, I'm looking forward on what he can do. I don't think he would be adverse at teaming up with someone (if it gets to that point), but I do hope Nanao assists him in this fight. And I'm still anticipating that Shunsui vs Jugram standoff from a long time ago.



And I'm wondering where Kensei and Rose are. I didn't see if Mayuri released them from their capsules.

But it is sooo great to see others and especially Shnsui entering the fights. But again, not much happened.



EDIT: yes, I remember about Rose and Kensei and they might actually really be dead because:

a) no one liked them

b) they would make a room for Rukia nad Renji to become replacements for them.

He is still so convinced that Kubo is planning to kill everyone, even after all the times he's been proved wrong. He must feel pretty awful right now, knowing that your favorite mangaka has radically different plans for the story.



And yet he still supports him. That must be what they mean when they talk about being a fan.

Captain Kurotsuchi fought well. It was a long somewhat drawn out battle but I enjoyed finally getting to understand his bond with Nemu.



Yay, Hitsugaya is back! I hope he still fights at the same level of badassery as he did when he was zombified. He wasn't one of my favorite captains but I really grew to like him in this arc.



Finally Captain Commander Kyōraku comes out. It looks like he's already started with the children's games. Was that chanting part of a game of tag or hide and seek?

Wish it would stop dragging out the fights so much.

At least we got to see some old faces....tho I guess in thier time it hasn't been that long.

I haven't seen Ichigo interact with Rukia in a million years tho. *sigh* :((
