Bleach Chapter 626 Discussion

Considering the current pacing and the fact that we got a really good chapter last week, I guess we're going to be stuck with black ink blobs and dumbshit for the next year or so.  This chapter was literally empty, it held no substance, no plot progression, no information dumps.  It was literally just black ink blobs and a repeat of the same stuff we've heard already, it's old and boring.  Come on, Kubo, getting this close a final showdown and you're still not picking up the pace or building any tension.  Have your forgotten completely, how to build a good story after trolling for so many years?

So..Did anyone else cringe a bit when Yhwach was on the panel?

Did Ywach just become a god by absorbing Kubo? Big blots of ink all over the page are his trademark after all.

I'm still pretty sure that every build-up characters that we introduced so far will be wiped out by Bach so easily.

If the soul king's power is do damn immense then why was he killed so easily??! I don't get it, his right arm while it was stuck in poor captain Ukitake's body was more powerful than its whole body. Seriously, one slash and the soul king dies? and now here Juha Bach (or whatever his name is) is here overflowing with black ink and eyeballs???



I feel like Kubo-sensei drags through pointless chapters and then when something actually serious starts going on he just kind of brushes over it... I wish there was a little more build up before the soul king got sliced in two, and some more explanation about what the hell he even was in the first place???



Anyway, I'm glad at least Grimmjow is back, I'd be really happy to see more of the arrancar (pretty sure my fave's were definitely killed, but you can't just die once in Bleach...)

Then I ain't got no place to mangle that body of yours.
