Well it's a Bleach chapter as any other. Not much to say really.

Remarkable chapter once again, even though it's little more than a transitional one leading up to the major stuff. I must say though, Shunsui making an appearance was quite the surprise, and the inevitable showdown he or Jushiro may have with Haschwald if they ever go to the Royal Realm has me giddy with excitement. My respect for the guy only grows with each time; defending the palace isn't even part of his job description as Captain Commander, yet he'll still go to the effort to do so nevertheless.



Also, Vollstandig empowered Lille is a veritable beast, the Bromance between Bazz-B and Renji continues, and Yhwach is going head-to-head with Squad Zero's de facto leader and most senior member Ichibei. Fuck if shit hasn't just got VERY VERY real!!! And Kubo forgot to draw Kyouraku's eyepatch once again LOLOL. Ah, I'm sure that minor mistake will be fixed for the volume release. At least the Elite's full angel wings are much more aesthetically pleasing, compared to the nondescript ones that Giselle and the others had. 5/5. It was short, but a lot happened.

I wish Kubo killed off Nanana rather than Robert. It would've been cool seeing a rematch between Robert and Shunsui. Then again, both quincies are likely dead.

Kyouraku's robe must be a kings key so he can get through the barriers to the palace, but then why didn't aizen just take that.
