I don't know why people are so surprised by a feat like that. Byakuya was always a mid-to-top-tier captain, and after getting the royal treatment and training in the Soul King's realm (not to mention getting his reiatsu cleansed and coming back much healthier) he should be able to deal with several opponents without much difficulty. People seem to be forgetting that the dude possesses a Shikai that matches if not exceeds in power most regular captain's Bankai. Senbonzakura was always Uber.



Besides, if Shunsui went to train in the King's realm too I'm pretty sure he'd come back and curbstomp half the quincy's forces. That Sternritter took out his eye because of underestimation and a lack of seriousness on Shunsui's part. That doesn't make him weak though, after all he DID defeat Espada #1 with just his Shikai alone back in the Aizen arc.

Well back in the old times, Sui feng was uber strong. 2 hits in a one spot and you are death.

His shikai wasn't that strong but he can work out a way to defeat opponent with something else.

The problem with Shunsui is that we don't really know what his bankai is. It may be something that makes more evil that good. That's why he may not use his bankai.

If he goes bankai... he might be badass





ps. aside Mayuri's experiment, it was just copy-paste: Pepe has the same ability as Zombie girl ... with little modification... what the ..?

Kuchiki took down three .. Without taking any damage ... I expected that old man ( gunfighter ) to be strong since he was fighting equally with shinsui ... But ohh well .. Since rukia became so strong then this much was to be expected from his big bro ... Lol .. I think we'll find something very similar happening in the coming chapters where all the royal guards will be down and juha bach will be standing like a boss , then hashwalt will come from the back like hisagi saying that he crushed his opponent .. Lol
