I'm not pertubed by that. It was quite obvious we wouldn't see much of Ichigo's new abilities for quite a while, that's how Kubo has always played. Either Uryu or Haschwald will probably stop him before he gets to Juhabach and another long fight will occur. At least now we can possibly see Hisagi's bankai and what it entails. Though I'm not putting my hopes up too high for that either.

Yep, can't forget Ikkaku has bankai and was even Renji's teacher at one point. Renji even stated he should become a captain, but he refused as he wants to surpass Kenpachi. I'd say his spot in the group is well-deserved. In fact, we might be seeing him unveil his bankai again, but in front of everyone this time.
