That doesn't even change his retarded behavior, It's not like this is the first time something like that happened. The only reason for scenes like this is to show off Ichigo's "chivalry", which is so hilariously portrayed in Bleach (and other shounens for that matter) that it makes me cringe.

You are talking about a character who casually survived attack of someone's whose flames were compared to YAMAMOTO'S. NOne of those guys are fodder. They might be in comparison of Ichigo, but that does not make them "weak".
You failed to see my point. Tell me when was the last time a giant explosion cut someone's arm clean off. What is it with Bleach and its arm fetish, you either get stabbed, have your arm cut off or have a hole in your chest. That's pretty much the only wound you can inflict in Bleach. The first one doesn't even matter, and actually the more blood is sprayed around, the less dangerous the wound. The arm cutting is meaningless just the same as was shown in this chapter (what was the point of it then?). The last one either kills you or gives you a power up. Go figure.

Oh, I can comprehend plenty. Especially when there's so little to comprehend. There's barely any story in this series at this point, it's just repetitive sword waving with some dialogue here and there. Absolutely NOTHING happened to push the plot forward in the last ~25 chapters. That's about half a year.
I comprehend horrible storytelling when I see it. No argument can be made to protect this series, it's already burn out. Every week I look for a new chapter with sole intention of finding out what will be hilariously stupid and retarded said week. I'm not even interested in how the story ends anymore, that's how bad and boring it has become.
And to think I liked Bleach when it started. It was really cool at first. Hell, it even had some meaningful quotes that I'll remember forever probably.
The problem is that Bleach from back then and Bleach now is like totally two different worlds now. Completely different series.
