I don't think he used it, I didn't see it anywhere, probably released his spirit energy, like Kenpachi when they first met. But I can't wait till the next chapter.

I liked the fact that Ichigo could show his superiority in the first exchanges, but didn't slaughter them on sight. First of all that wouldn't match his charakter and usual behaviour and second Kubo would trash 4 capable opponents only for a cheap badass moment. Over the last months enough enemies came and died and nobody gave a fuck. So in order to get classy villains like Grimmjow and Uluqiorra we need some bad guys to survive the first encounter with a good guy. So thumbs up for that.



And I am glad that the arrival of Ichigo triggered actions of the Big Guys on the battlefield. Those little skirmishes over the past month were ok, but now it is getting interesting.

Seriously why is Kubo's pacing -this- bad? This entire chapter could have been covered in about 3-5 minutes tops if it ever got animated

You forgot about Haschwalth. Pretty sure he's gonna play a major role in this arc.

I wanted him to deal with those cannon fodders barehandedly but you can't always get what you want I guess. Still, this chapter was pretty much as eventless as the last. At least he didn't leave us with another Kubohanger....



I  can't understand why there are people who call them useless fodder and rage that they got a color page. Liltotto is the brains of the group, Candice is the brawn, Meninas is the beauty, and this is where it would've usually ended, but we also have Giselle whose main aspect is her sharp wit. All of them have whipped out their Quincy bows (finally we see those things again!) and prepare to take on Ichigo, who is much stronger than a worn-out Kenpachi.

I'm glad I stopped reading Bleach 3 weeks ago and then came back......you gotta read it in intervals....
