Kenpachi didn't say Bankai so it's his shikai, which is good cause how can you fight with that thing above the blade? doesn't get in the way when you cut?

What ever happened to putting his second hand on his sword?  Was the situation drastic enough to skip it?

Remenber that Kenpachi never cared for learning his Zanpakuto's name. And no Zanpakuto's name = no Shikai.

Holy fuck, his Shikai is HUGEEE.



It's actually pretty fitting considering the kind of guy Kenpachi is. While the reveal was awesome I felt the chapter was pretty short, I hope it speeds along next chapter, but at least the meteorite was destroyed in 1 chapter!

I think Kenpachi  is more badass with his beaten up long blade.  Why the solution is always big blade? Well, I'm fine with it as long as Kenpachi's bankai is not a bigger blade version. Kenpachi will slowly instill fear into his opponents with the opponent barley blocking his attack, then come a bigger blade that will have more momentum to further scare the opponents. I think Kenpachi's bankai should follow the pattern I mentioned above, slowly crippling the enemy.
