I don't think any of the new guy's banter will work on Kenpachi. Is Kenpachi even capable of imagining things? lol



Kubo himself can't even imagine a female character from a superpowered undead military organization winning a fight on her own.

Nah way bro, how can you just kill Kensei and Rose like that? The only good thing was Zaraki's arrival.

i expect something more like kenpachig having the perfect counter ability, or he himself through his personality and such be the counter ... i believe he might not even reveal his bankai yet, maybe we will see the shikai but that's it :/

he is controlling an area only ... note when the surprise came in this chapter "since when am inside a forcefield" most likely it has some range restriction

I think it will be something like kenpachi simply lacking imagination. All he thinks about is fighting and slaying down his opponent. It is really as if he can NOT think of anything else. :)

Completely agree with you.  Most of the chapters lately have been at the very least, stale with very little interesting substance.  Though this chapter with Kenpachi arriving at the end, that was certainly a saving grace, I loved him barging in.  



Also I really hope they're not dead, I'm all for having casualties in a war like this to show how harsh it was, or perhaps motivate other characters to avenge them.  Regardless, it just wasn't well presented or executed, perhaps in a different situation it would have meant more.  That said, I'm inclined to believe they aren't dead but who knows really.



Overall I did like this chapter more so than the last few especially.  Kenpachi was great to finally see enter the fray, and I like Yachiru but these constant Quincy reveals are repetitive, with each one having a more absurd power than the last.

Fuck...I can't believe Kensei and Rose are dead just like that. Kubo's sadistic side is finally showing through. Seems like since Bleach is in the final arc he'll continue to be kill happy and make his "Shounen" more into a "Seinen". Also Fucking yes! Kenpachi is back!

Well, at least she wasn't treating Unohana. And hooray for fucking random deaths. Also, thank you, Quincy, for pointing out the obvious to the Shinigami, since they don't seem to fucking get that explaining your power to your enemy is not a good idea.

lmao this is kubo we're talking about you know how many "deaths"  he's had during the series and then somehow the characters end up being alive. momo, hitsuguya, hiyori, byakuya, kira, ginjou, the list goes on and on...don't worry kensei and rose aren't dead.

There must be a flaw/restriction to this ability.



As someone already mentioned, the victim probably has to imagine the words spoken for him/her to get affected by this ability. Either that or be in direct skin-contact with the quincy, which would explain why Yachiru's hand broke... This quincy is probably lying about how his own imagination is the cause of everything.



If this theory is true... then the fact that Yachiru managed to imagine her bones being cookies is actually pretty funny...
